I haven't read this one but I do have it. I started one of the other stories in the book but didn't get to this one yet. I'll have to dig it back out!
I got it and am ready to start....loving her writing style and characters. Thanks for getting these buddy reads going :)
Finished it! I liked it but I didn't love it. I found it to be humorous but lacked something that Pamela Clare's longer full length novels have. Mainly the development of the characters and plot. But really, considering the fact that it is a short story, it was good.
So how did everyone like this? I found it to be different from her longer I-Team novels in that there lacked the suspense element and was mostly a humorous read. Do you think Pamela Clare should try a full length humorous contemporary novel or stick to romantic suspense?
I was finally able to grab this for a re-read. I own it in the original print anthology.
I actually thought this was a fantastic story, and didn't feel like a "short" read at all. The humor was great and I LOVED the Scrabble game!
To answer your question, Pamela, I do think PC could take on a full length humorous CR novel and do a great job of it.

Made me cry! It's amazing how short of time it took for me to love both characters!Pamela and Unique: I think PC will do great with a Romance Comedy like this too.
I love her Romantic Suspense so much but I think maybe she could pull off the Romantic Comedy without a problem ☺

A sexy romp featuring the characters from Pamela Clare’s popular I-Team series.
Lissy Charteris and Will Fraser are two weeks away from getting married when Lissy suggests they put a bit of traditional romance into their lives by giving up sex until their wedding night. Though Will thinks it’s a crazy idea, he’s not about to admit he can’t do it. The two end up making a bet, vowing not to be the first to ask for sex. But what starts as a bet turns into a game of no-holds-barred seduction—winner take all.
