Wayne Dyer has been my favorite for years. He puts metaphysics is such plaine english. You get the message clearly and you come to know who you are. "Real Magic" is my favorite book he wrote.

Vanessa (vanessarichardson) Sam, I am sure I am not alone, when I say this. But, I have several. But the one I will post (right now) is: Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston.

I was introduced to her writings when I was 19 years of age. And I immdediately was drawn to her, after learning about her life. I could identify with some of the things she'd endured.

And her writing technique, was both brilliant and defiantly different? Zora Neale Hurston, was way before her time, way before her time, and thus, was not fully appreciated or understood, I feel. Sorry, for the long speech. :) Can you tell I love Zora Neale Hurston, yet?

Happy readings,
Vanessa

Brien Jones (brienjonesharvestcom) | 10 comments "A Short History of Nearly Everything" by Bill Bryson is not the only book I have read three times, but it IS the only book I ever read 3 times BACK TO BACK.

My favorite author is Michael Crichton.

Vanessa (vanessarichardson) :) Yeah.

John Beachem Wow... really hard to pick just one. I'd probably have to go with Neil Gaiman, just because I've enjoyed everything he's written, with [Book: Good Omens] being my favorite.
