Sam, I am sure I am not alone, when I say this. But, I have several. But the one I will post (right now) is: Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston.I was introduced to her writings when I was 19 years of age. And I immdediately was drawn to her, after learning about her life. I could identify with some of the things she'd endured.
And her writing technique, was both brilliant and defiantly different? Zora Neale Hurston, was way before her time, way before her time, and thus, was not fully appreciated or understood, I feel. Sorry, for the long speech. :) Can you tell I love Zora Neale Hurston, yet?
Happy readings,
Vanessa
"A Short History of Nearly Everything" by Bill Bryson is not the only book I have read three times, but it IS the only book I ever read 3 times BACK TO BACK.My favorite author is Michael Crichton.
