Jude sat behind Jo's reclined fixing his sweater since he tore it.

Jo looked over. "What is it, Joel?" She mumbled, raising an eyebrow.
Evey looked up from the floor, curled up in a corner. "You sure?"
"Did you hear something?"Jude asked not looking up
Kristin sat agiasnt the wall, farthest from everybody
Evey ran forward with her chinsy sword and stabbed it through the face, getting it in the brain through the eye sockets.
To make sure that it wouldn't come back Jude swung his pipe knocking the head off "Looks like you heard right."
Evey backed up. "That's it, just get the brain, right? I've never really..." She held back vomit. "I've never really killed one before. I've just run."
Evey grabbed her pack and rammed her sword into her belt, running up to the door in the wall.
Elise put on her mask and, embarrassed that she'd forgotten, took out Sting again.
Evey took off her mask again. She felt like a kid around all these people, people who actually knew what they were doing.
Jo held her mask, ready just in case they saw any spores.
Evey obeyed and slapped her mask on over her face. Even then, she tried to breathe as little as possible.
Joanna quickly slipped on her mask, tapping her foot impatiently, quietly on the ground.
"Jesus! We gotta help her!"Jude shouted to Joel
Jo heard a huge crashing noise and followed Jasmine. the ceiling had collapsed. "Jasmine!" She yelled. ((do they know her??))
Evey ran and tried to move one of the larger bits of rubble. "Help me!"
"Hold on!"Testing the ceiling's fragility he shouted "Move back!"And swung the pipe cracking the ceiling structure
Evey backed off for Jude. "Are you okay, Jaz?"
Swinging it a few more times he created a big enough hole for everyone and called "Jazz! "

"Does she still have her mask?" Evey squeaked, remembering how heartlessly Joel had shot that man.
"Wait!"Jude said to Joel then turned to Jasmine "Any useful supplies?"
Evey stuck close to Joel. He was the one who'd survived on skill, not luck.
"I was born in it." Evey volunteered. "Do I get extra points?"
"If there are spores, aren't there infected people nearby?" Evey asked.
"Lot's of things have happened since you both were kids. 1, puberty."
Evey leaned over. "Can spores take root in open wounds?"
Evey followed everyone to the exit to the left.
"Oh, shoot!" Evey wrung her hands. "Are we really going out?"
Evey slipped off her mask and let it hang around her neck. She pushed her glasses up. They kept drooping. "Quarantine's stupid. They should save the ones without spores."
Evey skirted up the stairs two at a time, lightly stopping at the top and waiting for the others.
Evey snagged a half-eaten bowl of Mac and Cheese. "You're telling me. Quarantine is just mad."
Evey looked down. What was the use of living if there was no good?

Evey tried to start a fire in the smashed fireplace. "This would be so much easier if we actually had firewood."
Evey curled up in the corner with her blankets. Hopefully, when the things came, they wouldn't identify her as a person using their echolocation.
