Cath (cathastrophic) 1984 by George Orwell.

If it wasn't an imposed book by your highschool teachers, you need to pick it up!

Rahul Nath (cultofpersonality) | 45 comments Anything by Isaac Asimov. He has written The Foundation series and The Robot series and many short stories.

Try downloading and reading his short story "The Last Question". Will not take more than 20 minutes to finish but will blow your mind and stay with you forever.

Anoop Pai B (anooppai) I have read the Prelude to Dune trilogy. They were wonderful. Also Dune and Dune Messiah.. these 2 books are less about Science fiction but more about politics.

Pandora's Star by Peter F Hamilton is due for a read shortly!

Mostly dystopian with some sci-fi elements. I'd still call it dystopian though.

Rahul Nath (cultofpersonality) | 45 comments Oh yep, I totally forgot about Dune. Thanks for the reminder Anoop :D

@Ruchi

You can also try Lord of Light by Roger Zelazny. One of my personal favs.

The Stand by Stephen King

Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card

Many other works are there, but these three are classics and almost universally liked, so go for it :)
