The School for Good and Evil discussion

In the Blue Forest, there is a Clearing where Lunch is held. For Nevers, there is a daily meal of gruel, pig feet, or some other evil delicacy. For the luckier Evers, there is a picnic basket filled with delicious, healthy meals, like lamb sandwiches, chicken crepes, and saffron couscous. Evers and Nevers always sit as far away from each other as possible.

Vaughn entered the clearing with a brown paper bag in his hand. He was here to eat and he was tired of seeing the same boring food that all Nevers seem to eat. What he got in the bag was apples, red and delicious it was a rest from the disgusting food that they served him.

He sat under a tree and happily ate away the apples, careful not to make any noise for it would alert the others.

Rina silently emerged from behind the trees, shrouded in an invisibility enchantment. She snuck an apple from the bag, and slipped it under her cape. She stalked a few feet away, red lipstick arranged into a proud smirk.

Vaughn knew that he wasn't alone anymore and saw Jackal appear in the corner of his eye but he shook his head at it. He bit into another of his apples, ignoring the stare that was directed at him. She have some way of being invisible, he thought; and he knows it's a she because of her scent. A hint of cinnamon, he grinned.

Rina snatched the bag and took off running, then doubled back, and plopped her pail of pig feet in place of the back. She snuck into a shadowy nook and bit into the apples. Mmm. Heaven, compared to those feet.

Vaughn smiled at the pail of pig feet that replaced his apples, he stood up and said, "Whoever you are, please return the apples or Jackal wouldn't be happy." He motioned to the fox that was suddenly beside him. He petted its head with a gentle hand.

Rina placed a paper bag at Vaughn's feet, containing only a note. The apples were gone. The note read, Thanks for the apples. Stomach says they're good. Enjoy the feet! Meanwhile, Rina was at a Never table, effectively blending in while discussing whether pig hearts or cow hearts were better in potions.

Vaughn looked at the bag with amusement. He opened the bag and he saw the note making him laugh. He shook his head as Jackal nudged his foot. He laid the bag down but he kept the note in his hand. "Don't worry, Jackal. Those apples were not important to me as you are." Jackal snuggled to his legs like a puppy.

Rina's python slithered up to Vaughn and hissed. Rina cooed softly, and she returned, rewarded with a dead mouse.

Linnia was finally on time. She waited for her friends.

"Hi, I am Linnia or you can call me Lina. How are you? It is really a pleasure," Lina said.

Lina jumped out of the way. "What-"

"It was yours? " Lina stepped forward. She had a temper. Her finger glowed orange.

"Losing control is a sign of weakness and means that you can be dangerous to you and others around you." Lina shot back.

Lina's finger glowed bright and fire shot out from it.

"No,".Lina gasped.

"She acts like one"
A white haired girl looked at them.

"That's Glinda" said Michelle to Lina

"I am very much an ever." Lina said. "I just have a temper."

"Temper means being able to stand up for what you believe in, especially when others are in danger." Lina stood strong.

"I was defending myself." Lina declared.

"I am sorry," Lina said.

Lina waited. Why did she always have to go blow something up? She just wanted a friend.

"Great" Lina smiled.

Marine sat up against a tree, watching the girls laugh. Not many people knew this, but her mother was Sleeping Beauty. The girls reminded Marine of happier times...
"Sit together?"
Marine looked up to a purple haired girl & a pink haired girl. Blaze & Elissa.
Marine's fears washed away as she laughed with them.

Marine & Elissa smiled but Blaze had gone quiet. Elissa knew why. Blaze was not good at making friends.

"It is nice to meet you!" Lina smiled. Finally, making friends.

"How are you?" Lina asked.

Lina reacted instinctively. Her finger glowed orange and a ring of fire circled her friends as a protection. "Who is there?" She asked, pointing her finger just in case.

Blaze jumped up, finger glowing a beautiful purple.

"Why did you gasp? Who are they?" Lina asked her friends.

Blaze's kind stare turned cold "You don't know who they are? You really must be new"
She looked at them, her hand turning red. "What are you doing here" she snarled.
(Blaze's hand turns red when she is ready to perform a fire-related thing)

Lina lowered the fire ring. She raised a.wall of fire and pushed it against the newcomers, causing them to be pressed.against a tree.

Blaze gave a small smile. This girl was good. As good as her...

"Why were you eavesdropping?" Lina asked. She smiled at Blaze.

"I wasn't" replied Blaze.

"I was talking to the people I have trapped. Sorry." Lina told her.

"Oh shut up" snapped Blaze

Lina glared. She raised her hands higher and the ring of fire around Sophie grew taller and hotter. "What makes you say that?" She asked Sophie. Lina had grown more confident because of Blaze's support.

Ann came in. "Ah, water, my power!" She was a Never. "Oh." She addressed Lina. "You. The friend of my sister. Ha." Ann walked over to Sophie. "Why don't we make this water a little more useful?" She raised her hands and a jet of water flew in Lina's direction.

Lina reacted quickly. Fire hit water and she struggled to keep control. "Jo?" Lina wished her Mermaid friend was here to help against her Mermaid sister.

Most of the Ever & Nevergirls backed off. Blaze hesitated for a moment. She wasn't going to give up yet.

Lina stayed next to Blaze and then took Blaze's hand and pulled her back with the other Evers.

Blaze instantly summoned a orb of fire. Everyone backed off. Best to stay away if Blaze was holding fire.

Lina stayed by Blaze. She held up her hand, ready to strike against Sophie.

Ann sneered. "Why do you listen to her?" She asked the Nevers. She stalked toward Lina and Blaze. A ball of water formed in her hand.

Ann got up and suddenly her face was inches from Michelle's face. "If you want me to stop, come and make me." Ann ran to the lake and jumped in, her legs turning into fins.

Ann made a water tentacle wrap around Michelle and Michelle was pulled into the lake.

Ann blasted water at Michelle. She began to sing, and Ann couldn't resist her music. Ann led her deeper into the lake.

Elise sang with Ann and Michelle was forced to follow them.

Elise sang and sang.

Lina dived in and pulled Michelle from Elise's grasp. She brought her to the surface. She turned her back on Michelle once she was safe. She was still annoyed.

Lina kicked the ground. She hated it when others told her what to do. And yet... Lina turned and looked over her shoulder at Michelle. She smiled. She knew her powers.were of some use.
