Here's an in-depth explanation on how the cover categories (CC) work
Let's say the CC called is single woman, then your team might read the following:
team member 1
team member 2
team member 3
You may choose any genre to read as long as the cover works for what's called. And you don't have to finish the book before the next CC is called, but when/if your team starts to get 3 or 4 in a row you'll want to concentrate on getting those books done first.
Also, when you finish a book all you have to do is post what book you read, the dates you read it (start and finish), your rating, and your review (you can copy & paste it or just post a link to it - whichever is easier). Once all members of a team have read a book for the CC, your captain will let me know and I will stamp your card.
You can all read the same book, all read different, or two of you read the same and one different - whatever you want. The cover just has to match whatever is called.
WAYS TO WIN
Five in a row (any direction), the four corners or a postage stamp in any corner would all be a valid bingo. Here's a picture that shows what each of them are:

I know this picture shows two postage stamps, but only one would be required.

Hi Michelle and Dizzy! It's nice to meet you! *Waves*This is my first team challenge, I'm really looking forward to participating with the two of you! :)
Any ideas on a name for our team?
So, who wants to be Team Captain? Since I haven't done this before, I would prefer to have someone else be our Captain! :) But if no one else wants to, I would be willing to give it a shot! :D
Hey guys! I'm looking forward to this challenge as well, its different and seems like it'll be fun! :) What does being the team captain entail? Lol.
Hey ladies. This is my first challenge, too. lol A name: ? the Bookies, McD (hehehe- Michelle, Caitlyn, Dizzy), I don't know.
Team Captain, nah, don't think I'd be good at it. But I am excited to participate!!
Which genre are you two into the most? Maybe our name can be based on that, or favorite authors? I love Christian suspense, Christian contemporary romance.Favorite authors; Dawn M. Turner, Dee Henderson, Irene Hannon, and Tess Gerritsen.

Pretty much all the captain has to do is notify me that the team is ready for their stamp and the post #s where I can find each team member's post of what they read for it.

Yes, love those, too! Although I haven't read Jen Turano's books.

So I have been trying to think up some ideas for a team name and the best names I've come up with are "The Bookworms" or "The Suspense Lovers" What do you think? But I'm fine with whatever the two of you want! :)
Just thought I'd share my ideas!

Hey guys!! So I think we should go with "The Bookworms" for our team name. =) This week's book cover is DOG, so happy reading!! When you're done with your dog book make sure to post it on here along with your review, and once all three of us are done I can notify Megan and we can get our "bingo chip" lol. =)
I've had a few questions and so I've updated message 4 on each team thread to include the answers to them so everyone can view them. :)
That's a good book Caitlyn. Think it's for girls 8-14, something like that. But I read it to review it and it was good.
Love the name for our team! Sorry I've been gone all week, been painting my sons' new bedrooms. Then was sick all day from overdoing it.
Okay, the three books I have found and placed a request for at the Library are Hello, Hollywood! , Alaska Weddings, and Home to Montana . I know the rules say 50% of the cover, but do you think any of these would work?
I'm pretty sure 50% of the cover only applies to the colors, for example, if one week's bingo call is "blue" you have to read a book that's cover is at least 1/2 blue. But for the other categories I think there just has to be a dog (or whatever) ON the cover. I'm reading this book for "dog" this week --
. So I'm pretty sure any of those three would work Michelle!
Thanks for answering Michelle, Dizzy! You are correct, 50% only applies to colors.
So Michelle, all three of those books would work :) I don't know what it is about dogs, but for everyone of those books I was like "awww!" they are just so cute! I had to add two of them to my tbr list - lol!

Hey guys! Just popping in to let you know I've finished my "dog" book! Here is a link to my review:
Dead Bolt by Juliet BlackwellMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
Really love this mystery series. The main character is great, and this was a spooky and fun story. Can't wait to read the next one!!
View all my reviews
I started it 7/12/13 and finished it 7/17/13.
Let me know when you guys finish yours so I can notify Megan and we can get our bingo card stamp!! =)
I read
Rock Harbor Search and Rescue by Colleen Coble and Robin CarrollRead from 7/16/2013 to 7/17/2013
Rating: 3 Stars!
This was a fun middle grade novel, and even though I am older than the target audience I still really enjoyed it!
This was my first read by this author, but I am so intrigued by the town and characters in this book, that I am really itching to read her adult Rock Harbor series!
Even though Emily is several years younger than me, I found myself relating to her a lot!
I loved all the SAR dogs and it was fascinating to learn about K-9 search and rescue teams!
The mystery was cool and my guess of who took the necklace was actually right! But there were still several things that surprised me in this book!
Overall, Rock Harbor Search & Rescue was a fun, quick read that I highly recommend!
Ok, so I had a LOT of time to read this weekend and was really enjoying my book... I finished my "weapon" book! Here is my review: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...Hope you guys are enjoying yours! =)
Wow Dizzy, you are fast! Just read your review and was wondering, is this book much for romance? And is it a Christian novel? Just curious, always looking for another good series to read.
Hey Michelle!! Haha yeah, I don't usually read books that fast but this one was a quick read and I had a lot of time over the weekend, lol. =p It isn't a Christian book, just a mystery series I discovered a while ago when the book was a free Kindle special one day. It has a bit of romance in it, nothing too crazy though. :)
