I'm currently reading the fourth book, and I've loved the series so far! At the beggining I thought they were ok, but each book gets better! I don't wanna give spoilers to anyone that hasn't read the books but UGH MY SHIPPER FEELINGS AT THE END OF BOOK 1!!!!

yeah i've loved the series, just finished clockwork prince which is in the prequel. And i can't wait for the movie next month
Oh my goodness I absolutely LOVE both TMI and ID. With that being said I feel that Clockwork Princess is the best book Cassandra Clare has written to date. It's is just..... I can't even explain. I can't wait for the movie to come out!! A little over a month to go =)
The first time I read this book 4 years ago, I was soooo lost...I read Clockwork Angel and Clockwork Prince a couple of months ago and was like ohhhhhhhhhh that makes sense now! haha So now I am re-reading. Read the first chapter last night and I wasn't as confused as I had been when I read it the first time :)
Ah! I am LOVING this story...I didnt care for it much the first time I read it...I didnt understand it, but now that I read Clockwork Angel and Clockwork Prince...I totally love it
Great! Honestly, I think they picked a good actor for Jace...i know a lot of people are upset over it...but I can totally see it...also....Jonathon Rhys Meyers for Valentine....YES PLEASE!
I am upset with him... I honestly didn't put much thought into Valentine, just the white-blond hair... that one trait D: But Jonathon is probably a great actor. I'm just excited for the movie!!!
Also, I have already read both TMI and TID twice, is tracking Cassandra's other two Shadowhunter series coming out, and following everything about the movie. I am obsessed. :D I MUST have Heavenly Fire!!! (view spoiler)
I haven't read clockwork princess yet. I read City of Bones back in 2009 and didn't get it and didn't enjoy it either. I read clockwork angel and prince earlier this year and had big "ohhhhhhhh okay" moments because what I read of City of Bones is making sense. and now, reading it this second time, I'm really enjoying it and looking forward to the movie and the rest of the series
Clockwork Princess will make you cry, and cry, and cry... It is by far her best book so far. I am in love with Jem.
Ooo dont tell me! I was on a wait list for the book at the library, there were 8 people ahead of me...so I took my name off and will just read it when I see it lol
I'm on the third books and absolutely adore this series. I can't wait for the movie in August I'm so excited!
Montana wrote: "I hope people don't turn this into a Team Edward/Jacob situation."i agree, after a few books theres not really any room for teams anyways
Bridgett wrote: "I read the back of one book. but I'm kind of confused. I'm sure it gets sorted eventually lol"Lol you are very lost at first, but then you get sucked into their world. Read the books!
I understand more this second time reading than the first. but there is one thing in the first book that occurs but clearly isn't correct in later books. or maybe it is who knows
...huh? Lol I am confused. Does anyone know how you're supposed to pronounce 'seraph?' If that's even how it's spelled :p
I read this book a couple of years ago. And was super confused that i never went on reading. Now, without giving too much away to anyone who hasnt, there is a situation in book 1 that occurs, their kiss, and then find out they are related...but then i read the back of book 3 or 4, and they start dating? so i am assuming somewhere between book 2 and that book, it is debunked.
Yes... They discover some secrets... things happen... So many things... All I can really say without spoiling anything is that you should read it!

lol, well I am. I figured it would get sorted out so I am not letting my mistake of reading the backs of the later books judge or cloud my current feelings for City of Bones. The first time I didnt like it...but after I read Clockwork Angel and Prince, I was like ohhhhh and wanted to re-read City of Bones as it makes more sense :)
Yeah, I just didnt get TMI until I read the other though lol. Now I am just trying to place the names from TMI for TDI :) like their last names and such
I think so. I think I saw on the website that most of the world is getting it the same day? August 21st or something like that
I have 130 pages left...so I will finish it soon! Enjoy it much more than this time around. And I must say, I am looking forward to seeing Jonathon Rhys Meyers as Valentine.
I was a bit upset about valentines hair but hey ho you can't have everything. I found the first book a bit confusing but I worked it all out in the end and fell in love with the shadow hunter world. Well worth the read x
Yeha, the first time I read it a couple years ago I was very confused. But after I read the first two in TID, totally makes sense now so I gave it another go :)
Have you read the bane chronicles I'm getting mixed feelings towards them. Wanting a bit of reassurance before buying ?
I havent read them yet...I am trying to decide if I should finish out TMI first? I am not sure if they conflict?
I haven't read the Bane Chronicles yet either... I have finished TMI and TID though. Should I read them?
I would wait till they all come in a bind-up of all of the stories, because then you have a hard copy of them all! That's what I'm doing but it's up to you!
