Am I the only person who likes to have some things left to her own imagination....surely the whole point of reading a book. I really am fed up that instead of reading someone's complete story ..it has to be split up into 3 separate books! Then there are the spin off series..... or the same story from different POV... I really want to read something new...not more of the same!
I really wish Rebecca would just write a new book about something not in any way related to Emma's story. I thinks she is an amazing writer and she could pull off writing something new. I feel like Jonathan does not, in any way need his own book and I'm worried that this will ruin Emma's books for me....
but then again if you think of it as more of rebeccca donovans writing you cant help but be happy....:D

Jonathan or Cole don't read about either. There should be a continuation of Emma and Evan. Sorry that's how I feel.
it will be interesting to see jonathan's book...his guilt and bone deep regret over killing his family his anguish over losing the girl he loved(emma, not that college girl he went with..in case you got confused). Although he was shown as the bad guy...he wasnt really..its not his mistake that he formed a connection with emma. I think he deserves his happy ending too, but with someone with a normal past . I hope the author has a new way to his story otherwise it will just be another version of the Breathe series

The whole story with Jonathan was totally creepy to me. He didnt come across as troubled-just creepy.
I agree, there is so much potiental for Cole. Emma really did him wrong and the way he left in the book was heartbreaking. I def have a soft spot for him. Emma and Evan belong together but I really think Cole could have a very interesting story.
I don't know how I feel about this. Jonathan is a very dark person!
Jonathan is getting his own book yay!!!!
Ok yes Jonathan isnt an angel.. and in Barely Breathing he may be the "bad guy" But in out of Breath we learn that he has turned himself in!!!
People make mistakes.. and he has a very troubled past! Im looking forward to learning what happened to him and how he will turn his life around! He deserves a Happily Ever After!!
Now I want Cole to have his own Book!

im looking forward to his story if its a trilogy it be good like the first book his childhood and what led to what he did the second book kinda like barely breathing from his point of view and then the last one leading upp to him in jail and after hes out.. idk i think hes a very interesting character with a horrible past
I think it's great. Jonathan is my favorite character in the series, and no, I don't approve of what he did, but I think he's the most interesting, even if he's bad - by some.
Personally, I think Emma & Evan were kinda boring and predictable, and Jonathan has alot of potential, and I'm very interested how it'll turn out. Specially, because in Out of Breath, nothing is explained, what happened to him, and that was really disappointing.
Barely Breathing is my favorite book in the series, precisely because of his and Emma's connection, not in the romantic sense, but it was deep, dark and disturbing.

Yeah, don't know if i'll be reading his books... but i probably will in the end. LOVE Rebecca Donovan, but i don't know if it's such a good idea writing books about a character no one likes, including me! :/ I get that there are unanswered questions when it comes to Jonothan, but i'm not sure that writing a book about him is the way to answer it considering how he's a character readers love to hate. We'll see...
I didn't like him either, but I think he has a story....I'll read it
That's disappointing news. I was looking forward to her next book, but I have no interest in reading about a character I hated. Especially one that murders his whole family, and then nearly beats a man to death. Yuck.
I am not a fan of Jonathan either but i'm excited for his story to come out. I think its gonna be really good cause he's got some serious issues!
It's true! There will actually be three books about Jonathan. The first will be released in 2015.
