Can we just talk about the ending?

zenoodle I'm so confused. I just want to talk about the equine, how is Zhara alive, and how she's pregnant.

Mia R Yeah, I wasn't crazy about the ending. Technically Zhara wouldn't have to be dead to be cloned. I didn't understand why they only cloned dead bodies anyway. The whole direction Cohn's going with the pregnancy kind of feels like she's shoving pro-life messages in there at the last minute. And it's especially weird that Elysia's suddenly together with Alex. The whole thing just rubbed me the wrong way.

I know! Cohn completely ruined the character Ivan for the sake of a plot point! Couldn't she have had a character do it that would've at least been more inclined to such violent tendencies? Even all drugged up, it was completely weird and out of character for Ivan.

Kenzi Agreed the whole last fifth of the book was just...mismatched. I wanted it to seem right but I couldn't see myself reading the sequel. Also instead of zhara showing up it should have been Astrid and Alex shouldn't have been there. It was all to convieniant.
