This debilitated old manor house has been long debunked and even longer has there been no werewolves but for many a student it provides a spooky landmark and location for many a dare!
Cobwebs and creaky floorboards in the two-story house are a constant reminder of the old days of mystery in the mansion....

A cloaked figure with azure robes poking out of the black cape, edged up to the rickety gate putting one hand on the latch the figure jumped back at another's footsteps in the night....

Andi walked through the front lawn of the Shrieking Shack. It wasn't as scary as some had said. She had gone there before. She looked up at the gate because she heard a sound and saw a cloaked figure. She pulled out her wand and stepped forward into the moonlight.

The cloaked figure had its wand out "What are you going here!" it hissed menacingly....

"I should be asking you the same thing." Andi snapped back. "Who are you? Why are you here?"

The corner of the figure's mouth turned up "Funny comment, I was just about to ask you the same thing!" the person walked up and threw back it's hood revealing blond hair luminescent in the moonlight. Wisteria Godwin stowed her wand "Andi Rowan?"
((Ok. I have got to go now but I'll pick up later - maybe a lot later though!))

"Wisteria?" Andi smiled. "Goodness. For a moment there I was pretty freaked out!"

((Today is shaping out to be cleaning day here it seems ))
Wisteria smiled, cherubic and laughed "Same here Andi! why are you hanging here?

"I come here to clear my head sometimes." She said. "What about you?"

Wisteria came further in to the yard and closed the gate "Exploring." she said quietly "They said in the old days Harry Potter's father and his friends came here." she said in a hushed voice

"That's what I heard as well." She whispered back. "But it doesn't seem as scary ad everyone says it is." She shrugged. "I'm fine with it."

Wisteria smiled slightly wanly and stepped up to the threshold of the door "Good for you. I never really had so great a supply of guts" she said laughing "Shall we?" the rotted door swung open.....

Andi nodded. "Let's go!" They walked into the shack together, floorboards creaking. Andi pulled open a curtain on a huge, long window, moonlight streaming in.

Wisteria moved towards a mottled painting "Andi, take a gander at this!" she said softly. The moonlight revealed a portrait of a tall statuesque woman with black hair and fierce blue eyes "I think it's Ravenclaw" she whispered

Andi looked up at the painting and smiled. "That's a nice portrait." She walked towards another picture and gasped. "Look it's Rowena and her daughter! With a tiara it looks like." She furrowed her brow. Wasn't there something in history about a tiara?

"Rowena and Helana." Wisteria muttered moving along "Isn't Helana the house ghost of Ravenclaw?" she asked looking at her friend and noticed her thoughtful exxpression "What are you thinking about?" she queried

"That tiara. Isn't there a story behind it?" Andi thought for a moment. When she was in the Room of Requirement, she thought she saw a crown. It looked almost exactly like that, though several jewels were missing and it was a bit of a different shape. Andi told this to Wisteria.

Wisteria gasped "Oh my.... that is the...oh! a Horcrux used to be in it but then it was destroyed by Harry Potter and his friends!" she said excitedly "This is awesome! have you seen theses before?" she asked...

"I haven't seen this one exactly but I have seen one that looked similar!" She replied. "That's really weird." She heard a creak from upstairs and froze. Then a group of rats scurried down, followed by a long trail of spiders. Andi stood and watched as they ran around the house.

Wisteria jerked startled "What was that!" she asked shrilly, pulling out her wand cautiously she approached the staircase....

Andi heard another noise from the front of the shack. "What the-" she cut herself off when she saw a figure. She pulled out her wand.

Callie crept down the stairs and peeked around the corner. She popped out and screamed, "boo!" to frighten the girls.

(Hope I didn't ruin your story)

((I've got to go again! sorry about cutting this off! both for the room of requirement and the shrieking shack!))

"What the!!" Andi jumped and spun around. "Petrificus Totalus!!!" She yelled.

Callie jerked out her wand and tried to block the spell, but she was too late. She yelled with a frightened look on her face, "stop! I wont hurt you."

Andi realized it was another student probably, younger, about her age maybe.
"Oh I'm so sorry!!" She said a countercurse. "I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to, you just scared me!"

Andi turned around. "Oh, Eva! It's you!" She walked over and hugged her. "Woo. Alright. We're good!" She gave a nervous laugh.

She giggled and replied, "thats okay. I really scared you didn't I? Well, i wont say I'm sorry." She whipped the wand out of Andi's hands and turned to the other girl, "you look like a statue. Lighten up. It was just a joke."

Andi snuck behind the girl and grabbed her wand back, stashing it in her robes. "Yeah you did! That was good, I'll have to admit." She laughed.

She turned around with a scowl on her face and asked, "excuse me? Whats in your pocket, huh?"

(Was it callies wand that you took?)

"My wand." She replied. "You tried taking it." She shrugged. "So what are you doing here?"

((No mine cuz she took it. ;) ))

"Im here to scare mudbloods like you. What is a skittish little girl like you doing here?" She asked crossing her arms still holding on her wand with a firm grip.

"Whats it to you?" She looked at the girl asking and smirked.

"Whatever." She replied and looked out the window.

"First. You?" She asked with a cold tone.

She nodded her head and looked out the window again. She glanced back at the other girl and asked, "hey mudblood, what about you?"

"Looks like shes mute. Im wasting my time." She responded with a smirk and left.

Wisteria popped back down from upstairs her wand drawn 'Who the..... was that!" she asked angrily.

Melania walked in looking at the cobwebs, a disgusted look plastered on her face. She took a seat at one of the few tables.

"Now what about judas?" John asked concerned.

"I have been having these..." She stalled, "visions, dreams really. That is why I was in the hospital; they take over my body. I am unaware of my surroundings because I am in the dream, physically."
