How often do you guys re-read books, if you do so at all? I know lots of people who hate, re-reading, and I know lot's of people who love to do it. So tell me, how do you feel about re-reading books? I'm very interested in hearing everyone's opinions on this topic!

~My thoughts~

I'm a little iffy on this. The reason I don't re-read a lot, even if it's my favorite book is because I'm so worried that I won't like the book the second time around. Whenever you re-read a book, the experience is always different. You may notice other little things in the book, or different thoughts that occur that you didn't think of before. You might not even like the book as much as you did, which is why I'm so scared to re-read. I just don't want to lose that feeling you get when you read a really amazing book. Maybe sometimes it's just a one ride book. You read it through one time, it's extremely good, and now that the adventure is over, you don't need to pick it up again. I don't know.

Trinity I rarely re-read books. The most time I ever re-read book is when I have it for a summer reading project and I don't remember all the details from it.

I've never had a Summer Reading Project before, but if it's for school, it's most certainly not fun. Haha!

“If one cannot enjoy reading a book over and over again, there is no use in reading it at all.” ― Oscar Wilde

I love that quote ^.^

Ify (cookies_and_cream) | 52 comments I don't like re-reading books. That's because when i re-read, it's not as fun or exciting any more because I already know what's going to happen. I usually like to wait a year or two before i re-read a book.

If the book is truly good, you would still enjoy it each time, I think.
