One of my favorites was Cam Rafferty from Divine Evil. He is a bad boy turned good cop. I just loved his personality, and how he was with the the heroine.
I loved Declan from Midnigt Bayou...and Ford from Tribute was so adorable with his former nerd self!!
I am going to have to read Divine Evil. Sounds like my type of man. My favorite so far (I haven't read that much Nora) is Rafe McKade. I just really liked his attitude and I loved his reaction to the house when they were remodeling. Another huge winner for me is Luke from Honest Illusions. He oozed sexy. I couldn't get enough of him!
So hard to choose...I LOVED Luke from Honest Illusions. There was something so very sexy about him.
Also loved:
Justin Blade from Playing the Odds
Rafe MacKade from The Return of Rafe MacKade
Gabe from True Betrayals
Zack from Dance Upon the Air

Isis- It sounds like you and I have the same taste in heroes. I am going to have to try reading Playing the Odds, True Betrayals and Dance Upon the Air!
Most of the ones I listed are the sort of rogue-ish bad boys, with the exception of Zack. He was a pretty good guy all around...not quite Alpha, but not quite Beta. There was something cool about him, though.
My all time fav is Cameron Quinn! But I also really like Cam Rafferty, Tucker Longstreet, Gabe from True Betrayals. There are others I just can't think right now.
I just checked my pile of books and I have Divine Evil in there. I think I am going to add it to my list of June reads. I could use a good hero to make me smile!
hmm let me think, I'm so bad with remembering character's names but I'll give it a go:Ford from Tribute- how can anyone resist a comic book writing nerd who knows sarcasm lol
Pretty much all the men from the Gallagher's series, Aidan, Shawn, and Trevor
Travis from Irish Thoroughbred
Cam Quinn from Sea Swept
I'm sure there are more, I just can't think of any other names.
Too many to name, lol. Let us see....Sam Logan from Face the Fire
Any of the Quinns from the Chesapeake series.
Rogan Sweeny from Born in Fire.
It's tied between Rafe and Devan Mackade
Oh, this is making me want to read.
I have to agree with Jess: Any of the men from the Gallagher's series keep popping in my mind when I think of my favorite heroes. Coming second Caleb and Fox from Sign of Seven Trilogy.
I will have to agree with Amar; Roarke is the one. He's strong yet understands; Out of all her male characters he's the only one that has the ability that when a strong female goes over the line, (Eve) he has the nerve to tell her that she's over the line and when Eve slaps at him emotionally, he slaps (figurativly) back.It helps too that in his charater description; he's a dream! LOL
Ditto Sherry! Also helps that we've know for a gazzillion books now :-) not fair that the other heroes are only one or two books!
I have always thought Zach in "Dance Upon The Air" was the ultimate hero. When he knows Nell is running from something in her past, he does not pry into it....he waits for her to tell him. He has an honor about him that makes him an admirable person.

Gab..."
I loved Gabe from True Betrayals too. That is a great book that I just stumbled upon one day at a yard sale! I still have that book.
I just finished Vision in White and I love Carter in that book. I don't know how Nora manages to make a school teacher sexy but she does!
My all time favorite though is Roark from the JD Robb books. You don't get any sexier than Roark!! :0)
Oh well, Roark of course!!!! He's in a catagory all his own!!! *huge grin* I can't wait for Kindred in Death.
I haven't read any of the JD Robb books yet, I am trying to make my way through all of Nora's other books first, but I keep hearing so much about how great Roarke is I might have to start them early!
Eve Dallas is pretty awesome as a character....I've decided when I grow up I want to be Eve Dallas. :D
Littlemissmuffet wrote: "Read 'Angels Fall' a while ago and I thought Brody was a great hero! He didn't mollycoddle Reece or treat her like a child after her traumatic past but was a total gent none the less. So strong and..."i liked Brody too. He was so cool in this book. If I remember right Reese witnessed a murder and no one believed her, is that right?
SherryD wrote: "Oh well, Roark of course!!!! He's in a catagory all his own!!! *huge grin* I can't wait for Kindred in Death."Can you imagine really being married to someone like Roarke? He's so rich, handsome, sexy, but yet so vulnerable at times it makes you want to cry. I think he's my favorite hero.
I love Ethan too! dafinitely one of my favorite Nora men. I also love the sotry with them, tip toeing around eachother for so long. "sigh" Love that book.
Littlemissmuffet wrote: "Yeah Kelly that was it! She witnessed a murder.Oh I agree with you Carolina, about Ethan Quinn.. I remember reading his story and his character was really slow and steady and never did things wit..."
I liked Ethan too. I like all the Quinn brothers, but Ethan was great. Who was the one that was the race car driver?
Oh, I almost forgot one "Jack Dakota" from Captive Star.....a type of "bad boy done good" and there's also "Detective Ben Paris" from Sacred Sins a cynical bad boy that done good..... :)I really fell for Ben Paris
I took it as instead of Fox falling for "coffee" or "tea".....his daily caffiene and sugar intake is "Coke" :)I know if I'm in a place that doesn't have coffee.....I reach for a Coke or Pepsi.....gotta have my fix!! :D
I get the impression that Nora Roberts must be a big coffee drinker. I cannot stand the stuff myself (blasphemy, I know.) It was very funny to have Fox always reaching for Coke cans. It was such a clear reaction to his mother's health food. :)
I haven't read that many Nora Roberts' books yet, but Cian (the vampire) from her Circle trilogy is pretty memorable to me. He makes my top five sexy vamps. Also any of the Quinn brothers are pretty high on my list, too.
Jennifer wrote: "I get the impression that Nora Roberts must be a big coffee drinker. I cannot stand the stuff myself (blasphemy, I know.) It was very funny to have Fox always reaching for Coke cans. It was such a ..."Actually, Jennifer, I think I've read somewhere that Nora's drink of choice is Diet Pepsi. She may drink coffee, too, though. I think I saw it on the Adwoff website.
I thought it was sweet how fox stocked diet pepsi and bought a coffee maker for Layla. when she asked about it it was like, duh why wouldn't I? I really liked him.
i LOVE Luke from Honest Illusions! I think the dad in that book was pretty cool too. My 2nd favorite guy is probably Matthew Lassiter from the Reef.
I just finished re-reading Divine Evil and Cam is a really great character. But doesn't she use that name more than once - isn't there another book where the prominent character has that name? I think I need to go back and re-read more books. There are so many men and so little time.
Parks Jones from Rules of the Game, baseball hero, movie star, hot stuff, infinitely patient and understanding of Brooke's quirks and willing to give her time to adjust. He also reminded me of Susan Elizabeth Phillips Stars series sporty characters (Kevin Tucker, Bobby Lee), whom I also love.
Emily wrote: "I haven't read any of the JD Robb books yet, I am trying to make my way through all of Nora's other books first, but I keep hearing so much about how great Roarke is I might have to start them early!"If it wasn't for an Audible sale one or two years ago, it would have taken me longer to find this incredible series. Do yourself a favor, start Naked In Death...NOW! The other stuff will still be there.
Is it just Nora's book Hero?I'll pick Roarke is my absolutely, definitely favorite hero ^^
And for Nora's book, i love Bowen Goodnight from Blue Smoke and Cian Mac Cionaoith from Valley of Silence
Vanessa wrote: "Roarke from the In Death series is so hot!!"Amen. I'm going to need a 12 Step Program when she finishes *SHUDDER* with the series.
RNDo wrote: "lol Alexis !!what is 12 step program?"
LOL It's true. Here's your answer: From my understanding, a 12-Step Program is a systematic approach to recovery for addicts. I think it was started by Alcoholics Anonymous. Hold on while I google it:
"A twelve-step program is a set of guiding principles outlining a course of action for recovery from addiction, compulsion, or other behavioral problems. Originally proposed by Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) as a method of recovery from alcoholism..."
Since, I am an In Death ADDICT, I will need a "12-Step Program" to get over the series ending. [SHUDDER:]
