I have many. One of them is Lilly from Red Lilly. She was funny, and insecure yet outgoing and I thought she was really good with Harper.
So far my favorite is Tate from The Reef. I thought there was something really endearing about her strong exterior yet innocent thinking. I also LOVED Roxy from Honest Illusions. She was so stubborn that I couldn't help but identify with her!
Let's see...Roxy from Honest Illusions. That girl had spunk.
Nell from Dance Upon the Air
Emma from Public Secrets
Tory from Carolina Moon
Nell from Dance Upon the Air
Emma from Public Secrets
Tory from Carolina Moon
I liked Reece from Angels Fall, granted she was a little OCD and such, but she never gave up. She was also quite funny in her absentmindedness.
One of my favorites is...oh I forget her name all the time! From Hidden Riches. Others are Emma in Public Secrets, Tate in The Reef, and Julia in Genuine Lies.
Mine is Victoria Bodeen or "Tory" from Carolina Moon, I think its because she had a traumatic childhood too.
Teryl wrote: "My favorite is Anna from Sea Swept (hope that's the name, Cam Quinn's story)."Oh wow, what a positive fav! I liked her a lot, she didn't take any lip! Of course she needed that kind of attitude taking on Cam. :)
I loved Stella from Blue Dahlia. Her story was sad at the beginning when she lost her HB in that plane crash, but she got through it, and took care of her boys at the same time. She was a very strong character.
Jess wrote: "I liked Reece from Angels Fall, granted she was a little OCD and such, but she never gave up. She was also quite funny in her absentmindedness. "I agree! The fact that she never gave up, and kept going everyday, and found a man to love her in spite of her OCD and her quirks was the best.
I agree with Carolina. There's so many to like but my personal favorite would be Nell from Dance Upon Air and the Three Sisters Island saga.
For me it is Callie from Birthright. She was very determined to find her past and dealing of the craziness of deaths and misfortune around the archeological site she is working in.
I really like Margo from the Dream series. She had to grow a lot from losing her pride and money, to regaining those, only to lose the man she loves.
I loved Shelby (All the possibilities), Nell (Dance upon the air), Sophie (The villa), Sybill (Inner harbour) and Naomi (The MacGregor grooms).
Yeah, I'm really fond of Jude, too, especially in Tears of the Moon and Heart of the Sea.
I love how in Nora trilogies, you see the heroine from the first story blossom and grow.
Oh, and how could I forget, Dora Conroy from Hidden Riches is also a favorite of mine.

I agree!
I agree!
Ok there isn't just one, so my favourites would be:Blair from the Circle Trilogy,
Anna from the Chesapeake Bay series,
Eve from the "In Death" series
Although I am absolutely loving Abra from Whiskey Beach, my all time fave is Roz from the Garden trilogy. She showed so much courage and strength. Fearless esp when dealing with her no account ex-husband. Funny but I have always pictured the beautiful Dixie Carter as her.
Anna Spinelli from Sea Swept
Grace Monroe from Rising Tides
Callie Dunbrook from Birthright
Lillian a.k.a. "Lil" from Black Hills and
MacKensie a.k.a. "Mac" from Vision in White

I have dozens, but I have to say Sophia Giambelli from The Villa. She deals with family. She deals with business. Unfortunately, where does one end and the other begin? She's smart, quick-witted, sassy, she doesn't believe in love and yet so easy to love. She's the kind of woman I'd like to be if I ever get around to growing up. haha
I agree Jennifer. I loved her confidence and I more than once thought that I'd like to be like her when I (if ever ;-p) grow up.
Moira from the circle trilogy. She's small but fierce! She does what she has to for her people without waiver..
I haven't read too many actual Nora books, quite a few of the suspense romances, the Circle trilogy, and all the J.D. Robb books.Eve is the best. Hands down. She's, of course, the most flushed out and 3-dimensional character, as she has 48 books about her... but she's just sooooo fantastic. As is Peabody...
I really loved Blair and Moira from the Circle trilogy Glenna, too, but I think Blair's my favorite. Or Moira... I like that everyone underestimates her and that she really rises to the occasion...
Rowan from Chasing Fire was awesome.
Others, too, I'm sure, but those are my favorites, I think.
I like Callie from Birthright because her reactions were real. I really like almost everyone from Carolina Moon but especially Tory.
But right now may favorite is Lila from The Collector I don't know there just seems to be a lot of me in her.
I really like Roz from Black Rose. She's feisty, independent, sounds like a good business person, and still ready to take a risk.
Since I'm new to Nora's worlds again I'll say Iona from The Cousins O'Dwyer trilogy. At first I really liked her bubbly personality, then she got on my nerves for a while, but then I liked how she grew throughout the other books and at the end of the 3rd she was definitely my favorite.
I love Parker Brown in The Bride Quartet series. She's driven, persistent, talented without being cocky or cold. She's calm and cool when it comes to solving problems. She doesn't throw tantrum at her lover or her friends or act impulsively/childishly like so many other female characters in romance novels. At the same time she can be warm, loving, caring, and thoughtful towards others. It's normal in romance novels to have a hero that every girl dreams of being married to. I'd say in this series Nora Roberts actually gives every man their dream girl through Parker.
Here are my current faves from what I've read in the past month or so...Elizabeth/Abigail from The Witness.
The heroine from Blue Smoke whose name escapes me right this moment.
And Tori from Carolina Moon.

Catarina “Reena” Hale is the heroine in Blue Smoke. I saw the movie a few years ago. I liked it but I should have read the book 1st. I loved Tory & Elizabeth/Abigail is one of my favorites
