I'm so sick of reality I want to live in a dessert again with marshmallow fluff and whipped cream and strawberry sauce with lots of cherries and of course mounds of ice cream. I'm thinking of some sprinkles and maybe nuts. Bur the last time I lived there I ate myself out of house and home.
I am so sick of being a poor college student. One more semester and I'll be (hopefully) heading off to Grad School some place. :)
Wait ... I'll probably still be a poor grad student. :(
The perpetual problem with being a student. That's why it took me 16 years to get my BA in History and I haven't been back since. Mind you, I would love to go back and focus on a Masters in English/focused on SF, but the prices for school anymore are outrageous and I refuse to end up paying student loans for the rest of my life.
At my age I will be paying for this return to college for the rest of my life. Oh well, it was that or the dole.
Rick wrote: "At my age I will be paying for this return to college for the rest of my life. Oh well, it was that or the dole."Literally laughing out loud. Thanks for that but I am sorry it is far too unfortunate to not take seriously as well as for the humor you allowed yourself to inject into the bane of student life.
Preston wrote: "@Rick, eat Oreos instead although they might be too expensive for an impoverished student's budget."Ha. Ha. Ha. Very funny.
I'm so sick of Preston thinking he has a sense of humor. Just kidding. :P
I am so sick of people everywhere with a cell phone glued to their hand and ear. I am sick of seeing people crossing the street and not looking because they are texting. I am sick of seeing people in restaurants eating together but not talking because everyone has their phone out.I am still sick of ramen noodles and pbj from eating those while I was waiting for disability to kick in.
"...that or the dole."Now I understand why so many NYU students advertise on Rentboy. Glad you guys cleared that up.
If you haven't picked up on it yet, I've been around a few years. When young I lived in our house, 3 adults and 7 kids.
We had one wall phone. It was a 4 party line.
Do not recall ever missing one IMPORTANT phone call.
Jennifer is correct (and also cute} this constant need to be connected is polluting our culture.

When I were young, we lived in a rabbit hutch, five kids and three adults, with an outside privy and a cold water pump…
Please refer to Monty Python's Flying Circus, #…
Actually, our telephone, which sat on its own little table by the front door was a three-way party line, which often led to great embarrassment. Sitting, waiting for its little ding indicating the other party had replaced their receiver, at least their was the curly-coiled wire to twiddle with to pass the time…
Kids today…
I'm so sick of when kids today ask me what those big black cds are and how do you listen to them. It's called VINYL!
Which means they've never had the pleasure of the autochanger thunking the next 331/3 down on top of the last one and then dropping the tone arm down five grooves in…Mind you, they never did that da-da-da-da-did-br-br-br thing that CDs so often do…
I'm so sick of being a poor college grad. Seriously. I literally work to pay my student loans. I'm 25 years old and STILL have to have a roommate cuz it's just cheaper *sigh* I'm gonna be poor forever. -commences pity party-

Boyd wrote: "Ashley, see Rick's complaint #4 :-)"Wait, what? Oh, yeah, the whole poor student thing.
"Words, words, words."
Too much writing, too much reading, too many papers ... Not enough money. I HATE not being compensated for my time. This will pay off in the end ... right?
... People in the computer lab who -1) Talk on their cell phones when there is a clearly posted sign that states NO CELL PHONES (for all the Brits, just insert mobile in place of cell - but you probably knew that).
2) Eat while there are clear signs that say NO EATING IN THE COMPUTER LAB.
and - what is happening right now:
3) People come in a work on a group project and chat and eat while doing so - completely ignoring the fact that the reason the sign says NO CELL PHONES means to refrain from extended conversations and thus disturb people who are trying to work quietly.
It makes me wand to put on Pansy Division really, really load. Maybe

Winter!!! Ugh!!!! The snow! The cold!! I am so done! I need to move to a place that's warm all year 'round.

Anyone know of any good paying job openings in Hawaii?
I heard they're looking for someone to monitor some scientific data stations in Antarctica. But I'm really not liking the climate.
Roger wrote: "School will pass, but education should go on forever :-))"You are right Maria. Roger got his platitude from a fortune cookie with the Chinese food he had last night.
Actually Roger is totally right. School stinks but it doesn't last forever. When you are no longer in school it's fun to learn about things you are really interested in and reading is a great way to learn about places, experiences and sights you might not ever see.
Hi Sarah,Sorry you can't sleep. Perhaps some Ben and Jerry's Chunk Monkey Ice Cream would help If not then try some Cherry Garcia and see if that works :-)
Hoping you get some rest, Preston
♥★Julia wrote: "im so sick of being single"I know more people who are sick of being married to their spouse than I know people who are sick of being single. But then, the people I know are weird.
Still it's better to wait for the right person than get messed up with the wrong person.
I understand it's hard though :-( Sorry Julia. It's an unfortunate truth in this world so many good things take time.

its just that i feel so alone and theres this beautiful girl at school and i just wish i could whisk her away
♥★Julia wrote: "its just that i feel so alone and theres this beautiful girl at school and i just wish i could whisk her away..."I know what you mean. There were gorgeous guys at school I wanted to whisk away too but they were unwhiskable.
I had to wait until a fellow and I liked he each other so much we stayed together instead of going whisking :-)
Hang in there, Boyd

No more until you show us your chocolate milk muscle.

Shouldn't that be mustache?
I'm not good with cat fur, allergic to cats, though I like the creatures, but dog fur is fine. I hate commercials… ever since having to make them for a living.
I am sick of friend requests from individuals who don't take the time to look at the genres of books I read. I mean I'm a member of M/M Romance, Vampire Groups, and I get friend requests from authors of children's books? Give me a break already!!!
Sarah wrote: "I am so sick of the following:headaches
nausea
night sweats

the sun (or any light source)

writer's block
my poor grammer skills

I'm so sick of Sarah being sick of those things in her list. I wish Sarah only good things and nothing bad.
