!!!Septimus Heap!!! discussion

Being the second book of Septimus Heap, im sure you all have something to say,right? So, i thought it wasn't that great, i liked the first book better..
I mean, did you see the way Simon acted?? i don't like him!It's a good thing he wasn't mentioned alot in Magyk..!
What did you guys think?

I thought the whole book was based on Simon,who i am not fond of!

Well, flyte was a pretty good book. I liked hearing about Simon... when you read more about a character I think you'll see more to them then just 'nice' or 'mean'. So, yeah. :)

I don't!I hated him the moment he started to insult Jenna,and when he took her away on his horse.. :(

I didn't like that either, but It was pretty cool reading it.

I thought 'Flyte' was a bit more exciting than 'Magyk'. As much as I don't like Simon right now, I liked that we got more of his story. Seeing him give a up a good loving family for dark dank quarters serving a master of bones was kind of sad. He's blind to who/what Dom Daniel really is. The skull in his cave was a bit creepy.

Yeah, I don't really like Simon at the moment, but at least we know some of his story thanks to Flyte.

I felt pretty bad for him, but he acted fine until the end, when Dom Daniel betrayed him!

I thought he was mean to Septimus, and Septimus is my favorite character!!!!!!!!! But the end was good when Simon rode off (or something) Septimus was thinking that his brother had finally excepted him.

By the way I liked his horse's name, Thunder.

Thunder is a cool horse name. I thought Flyte was really interesting when I first read it (stayed up until four in the morning....), but after reading the rest it's not exactly my favorite. I liked a lot of the dialogue with Sep and Nicko in the Forest, learning more about Septimus's history during his time in the army thing.

Yeah,the phrase-Septimus was happy,the last of his brothers has accepted him.

Why can't every book be like this!!!!!! But wait it's good that every book isn't like the Septimus Heap series because books need to have their own interestingness. (I don't think that's a word??)

I've only read the first and second books, but, in my opinion, Flyte is the better book.

I liked how not all the Heaps were perfect, and how Simon was deceived. Good plot idea.
