Well, from what little I've seen, they're not plausible/scientifically accurate at all, but that's kind of a downer, LOL. It's a big challenge to write around superpowered characters though. I have seen educational comic books though! And I'm sure there are authors that make more of an effort to maintain some kind of accuracy...
I think that's part of the magic of comic books, the suspension of belief. I don't think there's a good record of scientific accuaracy in comic books. More a formula that says, if we set new rules around this guy and stick to them accurately, that will suffice for scientific accuracy.
