It's okay as far as most teen dramas go. The redhead girl is really quite attractive.

message 7: by Maximillian (new)

Maximillian (maximillianthefirst) Redhead girls are almost always attractive.
Which is why Karen Gillan shaving her head saddens me.

Yes, redheads are attractive.
She shaved it for her role in Guardians Of The Galaxy.

message 9: by Maximillian (new)

Maximillian (maximillianthefirst) I know but I am still sad.

I'm saddened by it also, but for different reasons... and that would be: there's too few ladies with truly long hair these days...

True enough, but still-- she's going to be in one of the most anticipated movies of 2014, I think it is. And that's a good thing.

Yea, & too many guys with long hair... It's gross X(

Thank you! Men's hair should not be longer than most women's...

message 14: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer (gwenhyver42) What? Long hair on guys is fine, so long as they take care of it....

message 15: by Maximillian (new)

Maximillian (maximillianthefirst) I know a bunch of guys at church with long Dreads that look really cool.

notyourfriend (amemori) | 4058 comments Mod
Yes!!!! It's so annoying! Past the ears & it needs to be cut. Well, as long as it isn't as long as their chin. Then there are serious problems.

I'm sorry, but... It just looks feminine. It's like they try to look tough, you know? Except they're constantly throwing their hair back like a woman does.

message 18: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer (gwenhyver42) Dreads can be cool... if they get cleaned properly. Otherwise... well... let's not talk about that. lol.

I actually like seeing guys with long hair. It doesn't look right on *all* of them, but I think it looks more natural.

Jennifer (gwenhyver42) Mojoboy31 wrote: "I'm sorry, but... It just looks feminine. It's like they try to look tough, you know? Except they're constantly throwing their hair back like a woman does."

Two things that can fix this: ponytails and braids...

Except most people with dreads do not clean them properly...

If you see a long haired guy from behind, odds are you'll think he's a woman before you get closer, or they turn around.

I'm not saying all long hair on guys is bad, but... There's a limit, lol.

With a ponytail, you really can't tell that they have long hair, unless you see them from the side or behind. And braids? Thanks for making my point about it being feminine.

"Hey, John, you wanna come get grab some coffee with us?"

"No can do, Bill. I have to braid my hair."

message 22: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer (gwenhyver42) Oi! Braiding is a choice... lol...

A choice, yes-- a feminine one ;-P

You said yourself that long hair is fine as long as they take care of it...

Longer hair is higher maintenance. A man should not worry about his hair like a woman does. Am I wrong? Should a man be the one saying, "Hey, watch it, I don't wanna mess up my hair."?

Me too! lol

message 26: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer (gwenhyver42) .... Long hair maintenance is not as hard as people think. You wash it, brush it, and you can either let it hang free or put it up, but it's really not complicated.. unless you're a perfectionist. Hey, my hair is past my waist, and on days off, I often just let it hang wet after washing it, and it looks fine. I never use hairspray, gel, or anything like that. I don't even like hairdryers. lol.

:-)

I've never cut mine. Well... "never" might be a slight exaggeration. At the age of two, my best friend (at the time) decided I'd look pretty with short hair. That was.... interesting. Anyhow, my dad loves my long hair, so you can imagine his reaction....
At this point, it's so much a part of who I am, I don't ever want to cut it. I think I'd cry.

That's awesome.

message 30: by brooke1994 (new)

brooke1994 (formerlynarnian525) | 2099 comments :) I personally think I'd look better with long hair because of my height. At 5 5, I'm pretty tall for being female, and I don't think really short hair looks that good on tall people. Maybe on medium or short people. Before I decided I wanted my hair long again, it was shoulder length. The locks were just an inch above my shoulder line.

message 31: by Jennifer (new)

Jennifer (gwenhyver42) I've been told I'd look "cute" with short hair, but... it's not my style. I'm medieval minded, I guess. lol.

message 32: by Mojoboy31, Kitchen Ninja (new)

Mojoboy31 | 3210 comments Mod
I think typically, girls look better with longer hair. That's not to say that some girls aren't quite attractive with short hair (Karen Gillian's bald, I still think she's pretty), but if I was tied to a chair and forced to state a preference, I'd say longer hair is prettier.

message 33: by brooke1994 (last edited Jul 23, 2013 10:10PM) (new)
