Dragonlance discussion

Hey all! So for those of you who have read the War of Souls trilogy, I wondered what kind of background knowledge I need before I start it. I've been a Dragonlance fan for more than a decade and have read nearly all of the first 36 books, plus Dragons of Summer Flame and Next Generation.

I think I know everything about the original group of characters, but will I need anything else before I start WoS?

that's all I read and it made sense.
There are a couple books out there that some people are saying bridge the gap, but there are also some that say those books aren't very good. I say just jump into WoS!

Dragons of a New Age trilogy and the Dhamon Saga were the ones I was thinking of. They introduce some of the characters, etc, but I don't think they're necessary to understand or enjoy War of Souls.

I just aks the same question somewhere else.
