Cut and Run is one of the best M M book and Ty & Zane is the best of alpha males. My heart beats for Ty but who does it for you?

I thought probably Ty at first, but it kind of depends on the situation. All i know is those two are a couple of complicated mind fucks. I love them, but they could both do with a swift smack upside the head. I've read most of the series now and i think maybe Zane is alpha in a more obvious way sometimes whereas Ty can be manipulatively the more alpha of the two, but they both have their dominant moments. x

I'm leaning toward Ty... but Zane has his moments!

I've only read the first book, but Zane came off as slightly more Alpha.

As for my favorite guy, not sure yet. In the beginning, I thought Ty would be my favorite, but as the book went on, I began to lean more towards Zane.

Mmmm both are yummy but I'm going to have to go with Ty as my alpha after reading all of the books ;) cant believe I have to wait till next year for my Ty and Zane fix! Sigh.. :/

I can't decide. One of the things I love about these two is that they are versitile. (but that's my preference with every m/m couple I read about..

Fudgeknuckles! Ain't that the million dollar question! I could have sworn Ty was the baddest shit around but Zane rise to the occasion over and over and OVER again!!! I'm so friggin torn!!!

Zane if I have to choose who's more alpha. I started out thinking Ty, but as the book progressed Zane totally overtook him!

In my mind it was Zane. Being the bigger of the two and hulkier. lol
But then again Ty is quite the alpha in his own right.

I'd say that is pretty much evenly distributed depending on the day and mood.

Changing my earlier stance..Especially since they are 'versatile'. I think they are both Alpha, as far as I'm concerned *grins*

Zane hands down

Given their personalities, they're both Alpha males, and they both have their moments depending on the situation. As the series progressed, I have to admit that Ty became a lot less domineering as he found himself more and more comfortable with Zane by his side.

My thinking is that Ty and Zane have developed a fairly consistent reversible relationship, sexually speaking, so whose the alpha and who's the beta I think really depends on the situation and the mindset/feelings leading up to it.

I say "fairly consistent" in that we do see the both of them actively desiring a specific role at different points in the series, not just in the bedroom. Zane defers to Ty's specialized training as a profiler in book 1, and Ty relies on Zane's near-photographic memory to reexamine casework.
At times it's been stated Ty likes when Zane acts aggressive, hotheaded, or animalistic, while Zane has similarly shown pleasure when Ty takes control of certain situations with his atypical way of thinking.

I think Ty is a lot less caustic than he acted in Cut & Run--to keep Zane away--but the gentleness and more quiet aspects of him we see since don't paint him as being an outright beta in my book, nor do Zane's more possessive inklings automatically make him alpha.

It's not a black-and-white issue, it seems. More situational than anything set in stone, I suppose is the most definitive answer I can give.

Wow both Ty and Zane have the Alfa male thing locked but if I absolutely must choose, I choose Zane. You rock baby!!

That's a tough one. Usually with m/m relationships it's obvious but not with Ty and Zane. Ty has his military experience that definitely makes him alpha, but he also is more tender of the two. Zane is bigger and definitely strong both mentally and physically...hummm, even as I write I'm torn on what I think. I'll just finish with I think they are both H.O.T. and both alpha and I love them so!

Ty sometime, Zane sometimes. I cannot really decide, both get me going. I love it when Zane gets all bad ass because you never exactly know when its will happen. Ty can be so tender sometimes, but I love his alpha side as well. Both are just smoking hot.

This is hard. I think they're both best alpha in THEIR OWN WAYS. At first I thought of Ty, but as the story progressed and got to know Zane, I feel like he's the one. I don't know. It confuses me. But I love it when Ty becomes submissive with Zane. They are my new addiction now. *giggles*

For me, it's Ty and Zane both. That's why I love this series. Coudn't find more alpha males than them.
