Glenda came up to the docks and sat at the edge of one, she kicked her feet over the water slowly, "why fire?" She muttered, wishing she could go in without her draki hurting.

Gildor Dorthonion Helyanwë Swam up to the to the docks, he gone out for an early swim, he always loved doing different exercises in the mornings, today was swimming.
As he approached he found a girl sitting on the end of the dock, as he approached he noticed she hadn't seen him yet so he called out "Morning m'Lady"

((Are fire dragons like royalty among the Draki? because their so rare?))

((Ya, there super rare, same with shaders))

Glenda jumped at the sound of his voice, "can I help you?" She asked still rather startled.

(People thought fire breathers were extinct though so they're a lot rarer)

((Ya, shaders are the second rarest. And they have a pretty cool ability))

(Uh huh)

((just making sure they were like royalty :) ))

Gildor realized who was standing on the docks, it was one of the last Fire Draki, "Sorry for startling you m'lady" he said climbing unto the dock then bending down on one knee and lowering his head "I was merely returning from my morning exercise" he said

Glenda giggled, "are you bowing?" She came down to his level, "it's fine," she smiled softly.

Gildor looked up at the Fire Draki, "m'Lady, i only wished to show my respect for the fire draki" he said wondering if he'd done something wrong, wondering if he was acting to much like his sneaky relatives

She giggled again, "I'm Glenda," she held out her hand.

Moke was sitting at the shore and listened to their conversation. He then walked over and stood in front of Gildor took Glenda's hand and shook it saying, "What a pretty name dear. I'm Moke." He then kissed her hand.

((XD Moke got to her first...))

Glenda looked at him shocked, "h-hi, I'm Glenda," she reintroduced herself. She glanced at the boy who came out of the water.

Moke then laughed at her a little and said, "I know cutie." He then messed with her hair a little.

Gildor didn't know what to do, most Draki treated him like this, he got up and walked over to the edge of the dock to walk around them "I bid you well m'Lady" he said as he walked around the two

Moke then said, "Good bye good sir!" He then waved him bye.

Sunny then was walking towards her brother and accidentally ran into Gildor and fell down. She then said, "S-Sorry, I didn't see you."

Glenda watched as he walk away, "you don't have to go!" She called to him.
She ran around Moke and up to the water guy, "I never got your name.."

Gildor felt crowded, he'd bumped into a girl and Glenda began to run up behind him, his fear of peoples judgment began to overwhelm him "I'm sorry" he said to both the girls as he tried to step past the girl that ran into him

((wait is a water Draki the sister of an Onyx Draki? i thought the different draki were of different families))

((Gildor was who she ran towards, and no you can have any type of draki as a sibling or parent, it's random))

Sunny watched him not help her get up and sighed. He wasn't that nice she then stood up after he passed her and patted the dirt off of her and went over to Moke and laughed saying, "That girl didn't like you at all."

Gildor knew he had been rude to the girl, but no one liked the Visicryptor so no harm right? he thought to himself, but then he refused to be like the rest of his kind, he stopped and turned to find Glendor right in front of him

((That's fine :) there are some herds that are like that))

Glenda smiled at the boy and put her hand out again. She felt bad for just leaving Moke, but he being kind of rude.

Sunny then sighed pouting at her brother, "I'm never going to find anyone."

Moke then laughed a little, "Me too sis. Want to go back to the restaurant?"

She then nodded and said, "Sure." She then jumped on his back and said, "Onward."

Gildor smiled and took he hand in his then shook it, he felt weird though, it wasn't proper. "I-I'm Gildor of the visiocryptor" he said a little ashamed that he had to carry their title and with it their reputation

Glenda smiled, "nice to meet you," she had moved around a lot, but didn't know much about other herds of draki, she only knew the routines and traditions they all shared.

"m'Lady, It is an honor to meet you" he said as he felt a little fear that he would be disgracing her by his presence, he shuffled uncomfortably and adjusted his gloves.

She giggled, "you can call me Glenda," she noticed his unease, "are you okay?"

"M'lady i just.." he began to say before realizing he was talking against her wishes "M'Lady Glenda, i'm not accustomed to such kindness" he said bowing his head again, but this time to hide his golden eyes

"you don't have to bow," she giggled again. She smiled at him, the first REAL smile she had been able to pull of in a long time.

Gildor looked up at Glenda, there was no way to hide his eyes now but she was Draki, so there was no reason to hide them he realized. He didn't know what to do after that "How may i assist you M'Lady Glenda?" he asked thinking her wanted something of him

She noticed his eyes and smiled, she wanted so badly to fly and leave this human town. But her brothers were still here, "what do you mean? you acting as if I saved your life," she smiled softly, "you don't have to do anything for me."

Gildor was unused to life outside his herd, in his herd they had a hierarchy where the lower members served the leaders and lords, so her comment confused him "M'Lady Glenda, you are a fire Draki and I am but a Visiocryptor" he said assuming that would asnwer he question

She arched an eyebrow out of confusion, "ya?" she thought about how he was acting and smiled, "were equals," she offered the statement up for him to think about, hoping he would understand that she didn't want to be treated as anything special.

Gildor was taken aback a little by that, no one thought of him as an equal after he dropped out of his assassin training, "m'lady Glenda why would you wish to be an equal to the outcast of the Visiocryptor herd?" he asked not understanding why any would wish to be his equal

She shrugged, "I'm an outcast as well," she smiled thinking about how she has never been wanted for who she was after her parents died. All prides wanted was a fire breather's offspring. Anger grew in her stomach causing her skin to shimmer and glow.

((the hole shimmer and glow thing actually happens in the book, just so you know :P))

Gildor noticed the shimmer, "M'Lady Glenda, fire Draki are always wanted, I have been hated since i learnt of honor, I hardly see the similarities" he said thinking things couldn't be that bad for a fire Draki

((I'm kinda just hoping i'm getting things right as i go along :D))

She smiled softly, trying to hold years of anger back, "at least you have honor," she thought of her older brother she was forced to bond with at a young age and her little brother who manifested so young, "I have only complications." She continued to glow and shimmer, her draki wanted out and she wasn't trying to hard to keep it at bay.

((manifesting is when you go from human form to draki form. And bonding is a big ceremony, kind of like being married, where two draki's souls are connected-kind of and they can feel each other's emotions))

Gildor didn't understand what she was specifically talking about, "if you came to my herd you would be honored, that would treat you as a queen simply to gain your favor" he said calmly, he placed his hands on her shoulders to try and calm her, "And with beauty such as yours you would have half the Draki trying to court you" he said trying to calm her with compliments

((okay, just making sure you know :) ))

She shook her head, "I don't want to be special, or even treated special," she bit out, not directing her anger at him, but the world.

((you know that you have to strip naked to manifest too, right? to keep your cloths from getting torn to shreds. I read that in the book and was like 'EWWW!' when I first read it XD))

((xD well if it must be done theirs no choice xD))

Gildor began to blush as he thought that he wasn't going to clam her down "special or not, I'm going to turn around if you don't calm down" he said hoping she would realize what he was referring to

((lol, thought I'd let you know for when your character manifests))

She was a bit confused at first, then she looked down at her hands and gasped, "Oh me gosh! I'm so sorry!" she looked around for somewhere to hid, she tried pushing her draki away but ti was fighting back, "I-umm," she was panicking wish wasn't helping her very much ether. She felt her brother's concern and new that if she didn't calm down fast he would be here in seconds.
She looked at the water and shuttered at the sight of it. She walked up to the edge of the dock, spread her arms out, turned around so her back was to the water, "this is going to hurt," she whispered as she clenched her eyes shut, then she fell into the water.
The water stung her glowing skin, sending shots of pain threw her body. Even though it was hurting, it was helping to contain her draki. She hadn't realized how far down she had sunk until she stopped glowing and saw only darkness. Air bubbles escaped from her mouth as she swam back up.

Gildor gasped as her fell into the water and ran after her, no fire draki should be in water, as he dove into the water he followed the glow that soon disappeared, when it was gone he found Glenda and helped her back to the Docks

After surfacing Glenda gasped for air and coughed some water out of her throat, "thanks," she smiled as they got out of the water. She sat in the grass and rang out her wet hair, "sorry for.. that," she thought of how freaky it must have been to see her glowing so much, and she wondered how long she was glowing for.

Gildor walked with her to the grass, "S'all good m'Lady, just glad i could help" he said as he stretched as he sat down with her, he was tired "just a little exhausted from my training"

She looked him up and down, "sorry, if you want to go.." she looked around and noticed that they were the only once here, "you don't need my permission to go home, I'm fine here," she smiled.

Gildor smiled at that, "well i'm to tired to go home, and your alot better company then them m'Lady" he said thinking about what jobs he'd have to do when he got back, no he'd much rather lay in the grass
