I think I will always like Will. He's been through a lot and you can understand why he pushed people away.
I can't decide. Will is is all mysterious in the beginning so at first I would choose him. But as you get to know more about Jem I totally started falling in love with him.... I think I say Jem. He's super kind and caring and I know he's dying in most of the series but...
I just finished the last book in the Infernal Devices series, and I am Will all the way. It might just be because he so closely resembles Jace, but I think Tessa really loves him.
I keep comparing TMI to TID. Will is like Jace, then again, they're from tue same family. Jem doesn't have kids... makes me sad.
Me too! Then again, she wrote TID after TMI so she would have had to completely neglect Jem's however many greats grandchildren while she included Will's in the form of Jace.
What I noticed is, since Jem turns into Brother Zachariah, that means that he hasn't turned back into a regular Shadowhunter. And it says that Tessa goes to New York with Magnus... So where is she in TMI?
I think she might show up in upcoming book. That's why I can't wait for it! And I just loved how Brother Zachariah always helped the shadow hunters of the NY Institute. If Jem was still Brother Zachariah during these novels then that means he hadn't yet turned and so that's why I think Magnus, Tessa, and Jem are going to be featured in Cassandra Claire's latest book of TMI.
I hope so! Out of both series, Tessa is my favorite character.. except, maybe Izzy. Either way, I'd love to see how Tessa would fit into it all. Notice in City of Lost Souls how the clockwork angel necklace is in a case in the library of the Institute.
Yes! I thought that was interesting and I can't wait to see if Tessa is implemented into the next book. If she is I hope she plays a pretty big role. And can you imagine how her relationship with Jace will be?! I mean they're related!
And Izzy is really complex too. I mean I really didn't like her at first but then you go into how she was raised as the only girl living in the Institute and how the Shadow world was basically thrust upon her. She couldn't pursue cooking or anything else. She still manages to incorporate fashion which I love because who else would think to battle demons in heels? And she's this strong, gorgeous girl but she still longs to be a short, delicate little thing like Clary.
