Survivors discussion

It was built before the world ended, and was only slightly damaged. They managed to fix it. Open air, but has walls that are put in for bad weather, or for hot days. It has a heating and cooling system, to make sure that the people are happy.

Samantha sat down at a bench, and lokked at her sister." Kenner, huh?"

" What are you talking about?" Elizabeth let her red hair hide her face. She was blushing badly, just thinking about it.

Kaelin was walking by when she heard her brothers name so she decided to sit down. "What were you saying about Ken?"

Denessa went to go find Adrianne. She wasn't hungry so she didn't bother to grab any food.

Samantha giggled." Just talking about how sweet of him it was to come to see you." She nudged her sister with her foot, under the bench.

"I love it when he comes to see me! I just wish Kian could have come too." Kaelin said starting to eat her food.

Adrianne saw Denessa from where she was sitting and waved, inviting her over.

Denessa saw Adrianne and smiled walking over and sitting down next to her, "Get anything done after or practice session?"

"Other than tutoring? Not really, I got caught up on some homework but that is it." Adrianne shrugged "How about you?"

Lizxy gave her sister a thank you look before starting to eat.

Samantha smiled. That look meant it was true. She took a bit of pizza.

Juliet wasn't hungry. She went into the dinning hall and sat by Lizzy.

" H...Hi Juilet." Lizzy said, when she felt someone sit next to her.

Denessa nodded, "I read a book and took a nap, you know, normal teen stuff."

Kaelin smiled. She liked eating with the older girls. "Hey Lizzy, can you leave a letter for my brothers tomorrow if I give it to you tonight?" She whispered, she didn't want anyone to get in trouble because of her.

Adrianne nodded, "You know, you really should eat something."

"I'm not hungry, and everyone else needs the fuel more for fighting. I'm no good in a fight and therefor not worthy of fuel." Denessa said shrugging it off, she took a sip of the water bottle she carried around with her.

Lizzy nodded, giving her a smile.

"Thanks!" Kaelin said smiling and revealing a big gap in her teeth where she had recently lost some teeth.

"Stop thinking like that. You are just as important as everyone else here. Now eat!" Adrianne said holding out a small cluster of grapes for Denessa to take.

Denessa took the grapes and ate them while drinking from her water bottle.

Adrianne did and inner victory dance at getting Denessa to eat and went back to her own food.

Lizzy eat her food.

Kaelin started humming a tune to an old song she remembered had been really popular on the radio before the end of the world, she just couldn't remember any of the words...

Samantha heard humming. She listened, trying to figure out the song.

"No scientist or bionogy." Kaelin said trying to remember the words... Hmm.

((Its DNA by the way))

(( Got that from the first three words.))

Samantha got it.DNA. she smiled, and started humming it, singing the words in her head.

Kaelin heard Samantha start humming the song too and smiled. She wished they still had a radio, but the saturlights, at least she thinks thats what Kenner called them, stopped working after the end of the world.

Samantha smiled too.

Denessa licked her lips because they were chapped and stupid her had forgotten to save some Chapstick when the world ended. She was going to need to find some herb that helps or something.

Adrianne notices Denessa's chapped lips and remembered the tube of Chapstick that was in her purse back at the dorms "I think I have some Chapstick back in my room if you need it. It's cherry flavored if that's okay."

"I love cherry flavored, cause I kissed a girl and I liked it, the taste of her cherry Chapstick." Denessa sang.

Adrianne giggled at the old song. "You have a lovely voice." She said which was true, Denessa was an amazing singer.

"I'm really not though... I mean I guess I'm okay..." Denessa said looking down at her feet.

"Stop doubting yourself, we should have a concert! And you can sing some songs and whoever else wants to sing can, oh it would be so much fun!" Adrianne said already starting to plan it out in her head.

"You're crazy." Denessa said shaking her head. "I can't sing in front of everybody, and if you hadn't noticed it is sort of the end of the world here..."

"Which is exactly why we need a concert, it would cheer everybody up! And of course you can sing in front of everyone, it's no different than singing in front of me." Adrianne said grabbing Denessa's hand.

"Well I guess I could sing but nobody else would think it's a good idea..." Denessa said hoping she was right and everybody else wouldn't like the ideas, she really didn't want to sing.

Adrianne climbed up onto the table and looked around at everybody, "Hello! I have a question. Who thinks we should have a concert?" She asked.

Denessa looked down at the ground, Adrianne wasn't actually doing this? This was just a trick of her imagination? Right?

Juliet didn't say anything. Just spake in the conversation. She used to sing- not anymore.

Kaelin smiled at the idea. It would be fun to have some music around here "Yes! Sounds like fun!" She shouted.

Juliet started sketching in her notebook.

Kaelin saw that Juliet was drawing "Ooo, what are you drawing?" She asked leaning over to get a better look.

Juliet snapped the book to her chest. She blushed. She really needed to start opening up to people. She took a breath.

"S-s-sorry. I um. It's a.. Tree." She said showing Kaelin. She set the book down.

Kaelin studied the drawing for a minute "I think it's a pretty tree! You are a good drawer!"

"Thanks. I used to be in art class. Before......" Trailed off Juliet.
