The BoM for August is Neil Gaiman's new bestseller, The Ocean at the End of the Lane . Yay!

I've ordered a copy from the library - there's one reservation ahead of me but should be able to read it in time.

That's pretty good Joan, the waiting list on at my library was much longer. I bought my copy as I expect to keep it and read again

OMG! Has anyone made a start on this yet? It's good, but so cruel. I'm half way-ish and will probably finish it tonight. I'd be interested in what others think of this one!

I finished this a day or so ago and wow! Very imaginative, but dark. At one point (chapter 8 ish I think) I had to put it down because the cruelty was more than I could stomach, but once past that, great story. Fantasy fiction that really makes you think! Great stuff!!

Disappointed in this book after hearing so many good reviews from different people. I thought the story could have developed far more. Maybe I expected too much - Fantasy is not my number one choice in a book.

it doesn't look my kind of book that I would typically go for but if manage to pick up a copy then I will give it a bash. I do like epic fantasy books. :P
