*cringe* My second book had another editor who is fabulous.... and we worked together very well... I learnt from my mistakes, that's for sure!

I think having your first book published is always a world-changing learning experience for all authors. I'm sure you will put everything you learned on this one to good use. I wish you all the best with your next one.

Absolutely. And let me also say that your post here is exactly how one should handle a negative review. You certainly get points for professionalism.

Having a good editor, and having a good relationship with that editor can make a world of difference. And I think your professional courtesy is admirable as well.
