Sometimes. School holidays is often focused around Christmas in July with decorations etc. It's not the same as actual Christmas in December but it is certainly a fun event! It doesn't even have a date, it's the whole month! or two weeks of holidays really.
It must be for the winter atmosphere if you don't have it.
I think you're bizarre for not having heard of it but then you must think I am strange for celebrating it. :P
