The Gamble discussion

I really like Kristen Ashley books and her way of writing. She wrote Nina very well - she was funny and strong - the only thing that bugged me was her way of communicating, sometimes I wanted to shout at her to spit it out but I loved it when she lost all train of thought when Holden touched her and kissed her. I loved Holden and all his friends and god I did laugh at this book and the way they were together. I fell in love with Mindy also and would so love a book on her and Jeff. Will be looking up more of Kristen's books for sure.

I just started reading her a few months ago, Arlene. The inroduction to her books resulted in a twelve book binge. LOL Her books are addicting.

This one is the first in a series. The next one is called Sweet Dreams. The whole series is good. (And still in progress...yay!) Lady Luck was my favorite!

KA is soooo addicting...and the Colorado Mountain series is one of my favorite series;however, they are all excellent. And, Lady Luck is my fav, too, with Sweet Dreams a close second in this series. Her books are a favorites re-read for me...

This sounds really awesome... and it's a great price. I plan on getting it this week! I can't wait to read it.

i have read every single book available from KA so addicting and so freaking fabulous in every way.. i haven't been disappointed in any book.. even her fantasy and paranormal and those aren't my usual reads.

Ditto .... and I have re-read them all numerous times too. They just never get old

I've had this series for a while and hadn't made a dent in K Ashley's books until I read her Three Series (which was fantastic ) so I moved onto the Gamble OMG I loved it, pulled an all nighter to read it, Just finished Lady Luck, all books to this series have been fantastic, her storylines are the Shit as TY would say lol, Just love her books.

I love Max. I feel certain that he loves me too. In some jacked up, alternate reality, I am sitting on Max's mountain overlooking his beautiful bluff on the back of his sled. With all my moveable parts around him. And maybe the immovable ones too.

This is my world. Do not judge me.

p.s.
We need a GOOD IR author to tackle alphas the way KA does it. There is NOTHING that even comes close. I'm tempted to try to do it myself, but I'm not good enough LOL.

Right now I am non my fourth book of the Colorado mountain series and each one of them was fantastic. Although I loved "The gamble" the best.

I agree, I loved 'The Gamble' the best. I would love to see it written again in Max's POV! What he went through emotionally as she was sick and how his late wife's anniversary death was haunting him as he fell for Nina.

I found the book extremely funny especially towards the end. I liked Max a lot too, but just did not like how the author portrayed his speaking ability. He is way smarter than she portrayed him to be with the speech cutting off the g etc, etc. Max is sexy as hell though.
