The Weird Sisters by Eleanor Brown - I love how this book was written from the perspective of 3 very different sisters (personality types), while focusing on family dynamics with aging parents and varied lifestyles amongst these three women. A charming tale of different paths taken, which ultimately brought them back to each other, emphasizing the bonds of sisterhood. I would recommend this, in particular to anyone who has sisters themselves! I finished it quickly because I loved their voices.

I loved this book. I thought it was so well-written, and the characters were all so well-drawn that it was like reading about real people, getting to hear their thoughts from their own point of view. This is one of my top recommendations when someone asks me for a good fiction book to read.

I enjoyed The Weird Sisters too. I have two sisters and I kept seeing each of us reflected in the three sisters in the book. Not a perfect match mind you but still there were enough similarities to see a kinship between living and fictional sisters. We now find ourselves in a situation which is "emphasizing the bonds of sisterhood" in real life so I appreciated this story on many levels.
OOPS...I was thinking of "Afterwards" by Rosamund Lupton, and that you were speaking of "Sister" by this same author. On to the correct book, "The Weird Sisters" - yes, loved it, and wondering what else might be good by this author Eleanor Brown?
