A short 3 books series starting with this one - originally released late 70's. Dubbed the first Tartan Noir book, and supposedly an inspiration for other Scottish crime fiction writers who followed him...ie Rankin.
Anyone read it? I got to it last year and loved it, I'd be interested to see if anyone else has got an opinion. I need to read the other 2 in the series.

My latest Scottish find has been The Necessary Death of Lewis Winter first in a 3 book Glasgow hitman series. Second one is How a Gunman Says Goodbye
