Which actor was the best?
personally thought Alan Rickman couldn't have been a better Snape. I also thought Maggie Smith was the perfect Professor McGonagall, especially after reading all the extra stuff about her on pottermore.the only actor I really didn't think matched the books was Slughorn. I felt like the actor should have been much bigger, less timid and more boastful.
Alan Rickman played the part well, thats a no brainer, however, my fave is Jason Issacs as Lucius Malfoy. His character continually changed throughout the movies. In the scenes he was in I was hooked.
Gary Oldman as Sirius BlackAlan Rickman as Snape (OF COURSE!)
Michael Gambon as Dumbledore was so brilliant.
I mean all respect to the the late Sir Richard Harris but Gambon hit the bullseye in portraying Dumbledore.
The actor for me who did not matched the character on the book is TONKS.

Michael Gambon as Dumbledore
But I loved Alan Rickman as Snape, he was just amazing!
I must say, I thought Sir Richard Harris did a lot better as Dumbledore. He was more of that humorous, sensitive headmaster. In the book Dumbledore has a smile on his face most of the time and he has sparkling blue eyes. I rarely saw Dumbledore smiling in movies 3-7 part 2. I do agree that Alan Rickman did a wonderful job as Snape. I can't think of a better actor and whenever I here one of Snape's lines, or read something he said in a book, I hear it (in my head) as Alan Rickman's voice.
Whoever played Bellatrix Lestrange did an amazing job (As much as I hate the character you have to admit she was great). I also LOVED the phelps twins, they really played Fred and George well.
Evanna Lynch as Luna was perfect.I truly can't see Gambon as Dumbledore but it has less to with Gambon's acting and more with how he was written.
Really, everyone does a great job. But I actually think Ralph Feinnes as Voldemort could have been better. He just didn't seem evil enough to me. They didn't even make his eyes red!
I think Rupert Grint was great, I felt as though he should've been given more screen time. Alan Rickman as Snape - obviously and Helen Bonham-Carter as Bellatrix was also fantastic.
I think I pictured Voldermort more menacing. Ralph Fiennes was great, very creepy but not...scary? I know what I mean!
Alan Rickman as Snape, Rupert Grint as Ron
Jason Isaacs as Lucius Malfoy.
They portraited their characters the best I think.
But there were a lot of good ones.
Is it wrong to say that I sincerely enjoyed every actor and actress in that series? Because I thought that they each brought life to characters that had only existed in my head and I felt that each character was on point.
If I had to pick one character that I thought was not my favorite, it was the actress who portrayed Ginny, but that could have been the result of the script.
Alan Rickman as Severus SnapeEmma Watson as Hermine Granger
Helena Bonham Carter as Bellatrix Lestrange
This are my favourite actors, but there are so much others, like the actor of Lupin, who were great too.
they should have given EW big frontal teeth, i thnk HG had those. And also the confusing fact is Ginny was supposed to be beautiful,( no offence to BW)
I sirusly love all of them and could not choose!! And I know it's a matter of option but I think Bonnie Wright is beautiful. And I'm pretty sure Ginny was supposed to be kinda "nerdy."
I think Rupert did great with what he had to work with. He facial expressions were on point (especially when he was in a dangerous situation which always made me laugh!) And I loved Neville, and the Weasleys And basically everyone else! I just am too lazy to type them down.
I liked Evanna Lynch, because, to me,she was basically Luna Lovegood for a long time. But Helena Bonham Carter's performance was pretty nice and all the main actors: Daniel Radcliffe,Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, were fantastic as well.
Emma Watson, Tom Felton, Daniel Radcliffe, Alan Rickman, Rupert Grint, Maggie Smith, Robbie Coltrane, and Evanna Lynch.

can I just put it out there that Daniel Radcliffe is a quite a bad actor. has anyone else noticed that the only expression he can do is shocked?? still love the films anyway
Maggie Smith as Professor McGonagallAlan Rickman as Snape
They're the best for me. Though, I should say that I like most of the actors and actresses.
I really liked Devon Murray as Seamus Finnegan and Sean Biggerstaff as Oliver wood.
Maggie Smith and Helena Bonham Carter are awesome actresses, no matter which characters they play.

Alan Rickman. He's been my favourite actor ever since I was a little girl. I'm heartbroken he's died.
Alan Rickman!!!!! He's been my favorite actor since I was little because he really acts like Snape in the movies. Not many people can pretend to be serious all the time (;

For me I thought Ginny would be really different. I actually liked in the movies, but I just pictured her to act differently.
