Lyneel is an ovular island, running length-wise north to south, with Nappa HQ located at the northern tip and Wergel Village at the southern, leaving Wergel as the normal docking port unless a vessel is intentionally attempting to reach Nappa HQ. The middle of the island, stretching between the two villages, is essentially nothing but rolling hills and plains, and while the air is cold, the environment withholds a lushness of greenery and warmth.
~ North Appa Headquarters ~
The primary Marine base in North Blue, North Appa Headquarters, often times referred to as Nappa HQ, is the strongest display of Marine manpower in all of the four Blues, rivaled only by Illusia in West Blue. The HQ compound is so large that it has come to be recognized as an actual town, and within the walls of the enormous building structure is a bastion of trade and industry preformed by commissioned civilians.
~ Wergel Village ~
A poor farming village with a secret, Wergel is actually an underground arms manufacturing powerhouse. With unknown ties to the Marines, many of the commoners of this town are well-connected in the ranks of the World Government, causing a split between normal civilians and essentially a large group of solo-working spies. Guns run rampant in this village, and oddly enough, so does crime - as if Nappa HQ is attempting to ignore that Wergel even exists.
~ Ruins ~
Hidden in the hills of Lyneel is a castle left in ruins, harking back to the days when the island was not ruled by the World Government, but rather the King of Lyneel, who was overthrown during a coup following his execution of Montblanc Norland. During the chaos that ensued, the island officially came under Marine-rule, and the hierarchal caste system fell asunder. Rumors speak that ghost inhabit the ruins, though few dare to the venture there, and of those that do, none ever seem to return.
-------- Docking Area --------
Both Wergel Village at the southern tip of the island and Nappa HQ at the northern tip of the island offer docking ports. However, Nappa HQ checks all ships for signs of piracy, and will arrest a wanted man on sight.
