Blind Island is a mid-sized island oddly in the shape of a coffee mug. It is densely populated with people, but only along the "handle" of the island, whereas the base of it is striped with environmental changes, with the area nearest to civilization between a north-to-south strip of frozen tundra, then a strip of hot, muggy rainforest, then back to tundra, then back to rainforest, over and over nearly twenty times before the eastern edge of the island is reached. The wildlife changes in each strip, never mimicking completely a similar strip, allowing for a wide variety of pelts, meats, and furry friends (and enemies) to be found.
~ Avalon City ~
The northern half of the handle holds the City of Avalon. The inhabitants of this city, for one reason or another, all appear to be blind in their left eye, and are at constant war with Rigger Kingdom to their south. The City itself is a masterpiece of stone craftsmanship, retelling of ancient times when existence was lived off of the land rather than through technology. Regardless, the city is a bastion of technological advances, though it appears as though they simply export their wares rather than too often utilize them domestically.
~ Rigger Kingdom ~
The southern half of the handle boasts the Rigger Kingdom, lead by King Snordie Rigger X. Once upon a time, the Riggers controlled the whole of the handle, but during decades of civil war, eventually the handle was split into two separate groups, and grandsons down the line eventually lead to the tenth Snordie Rigger to be in charge of the war front. Rigger Kingdom has accepted the technology of the day at lot more fluently, but the town itself appears poorer, with civilians dressed in rags and living in buildings more akin to shacks - though once inside these raggedy houses, one finds a living space fit for a king, completely contradicting the outside appearances.
-------- Docking Area --------
Any of the rainforest shorelines can be docked upon. There are also two docks on the handle, one towards the southern edge of Rigger Kingdom, and the other at the northern crook of Avalon City.
