Karate Island
Zeo stormed out of Blackbelt Village, he'd been arguing with his father again over him becoming a mercenary rather then a smith, his father kept telling him he had the skills to make the best swords the world had seen but Zeo finally told him he was leaving to become the worlds greatest swordsman.
now, he just needed a way off this damned island...
now, he just needed a way off this damned island...
Zeo walked out to the harbor, he figured he could hitch a ride somewhere, he'd have to travel around and train his skills on stronger opponents, training sword-fighting against the people of a karate nation got a bit pointless pretty fast
Joshua saw a man with swords."excuse me sir but who can make me a sword on this island? Also I am looking for a first mate do you know where the roughest inn is?" He asked waiting a reply
Zeo laughed a little at how polite this pirate was, "there's a village off to the south-east of the island where you'd find a few strong blokes, but I doubt you'll find many wanting to leave this island, as for a sword I fear you're almost out of luck, the best smith on the island is attempting to find a way off of this island as we speak"
"Hoe is he expecting to pull this off?" Asked josh hoping he could hire the 'best blacksmith on the island'. He pulled out his broken schiovana blade."I really wanted to have this rare design put back into prime condition." He looked heartfallen.
Zeo looked at the blade, "may I take a look?" he asked holding out his hands, he may have wanted off the island but he thought he saw an opportunity here, "I might be able to convince him to talk to you"
Zeo accepted the blade and gently tilted it around his head, slowly moving it around in inspect the damage from different angles, he gently held the blade back out for the man in front of him, "It's fixable, give me three days and it'll be as good as new" he promised
Zeo looked at the man and shrugged, "there are plenty of men willing to hire an extra sword" he said as he turned around and began leading back towards the forge, "fixing a sword like that wont be cheap" he added
Zeo caught the bag of Belli and smiled, "headin to be king of the pirates, eh?" he asked still smiling, "and without even a first mate, I like you mate" he said with a chuckle as he headed towards the forge to begin remaking the blade
He thought for a minute."if your a mercenary maybe I could hire you.." he finished the sentence to watch the blacksmith work

Zeo smiled as he collected the materials he'd need, he dropped them in front of the forge and turned to face the man and held his hand out, "the name's Zeo Kawashima, best smith on the island and soon to be the worlds greatest swordsman"
He shook the hand."you have a lot of competition In both respects." He walked to the nearest sword and picked it up."but you know you would probably get a lot of practice uf I hired you as my first mate." He pondered
Zeo chuckled a little, "is that an proposition?" he asked figuring it would be his best way off of the island, he picked up some of the materials and began melting them down, it'd take a while but he knew what he was doing
Zeo turned slightly to look at the door then looked at his the man, "you should head through that door there... captain" he whispered while indicating with his head then he turned his head back to the front main door while still working in the forge and yelled, "bugger off! I'm working"
Zeo looked at the door again and wondered if they were going to come in anyway, the marines didn't seem to like him a lot because he refused to work exclusively for them, he even wondered if his father had sent them after him to get him to stay
Josh waited for what felt like days before getting an idea."excuse me gentlemen there is a pirate round back." He said readying a hammer he found on the ground. Knocking them out might just give them enough time to finish the sword then escape.
((sorry, big weekend))
Zeo sighed and continued working on the blade, the marines didn't seem to be coming in so he continued working on the blade, he knew that it would take time and he figured he shouldn't waste any of it

((do you want to time-skip to when he finishes the blade?))
After a few hours the materials had heated to a point Zeo was happy with, he pulled it out and began shaping the blade with his tools

Zeo briefly looked at the door but turned to pull out the sword he'd just finished making, he swung it a few times then sheathed it when he was happy, he turned back to the door and walked up to the man, "here you go Captain, just finished" he said holding out the sheathed sword for him to take
He delicately placed the sword at his hip. He then looked at the man."Do you know how to hoist sails?" He asked before heading to the dock.
Zeo followed him as they walked out to the docks, "sure captain, I've been on a few ships before" he said remembering when he'd had to set said to deliver a passel for his father
"This ship is a little different." He saI'd before they arrived. The ship was large 30 meters long. Fifteen oars petruded from each side. A cannon was in the front.
Zeo halted and looked up at the ship in awe, he'd seen plenty of ships before but none like this, he wondered why they had the oars and why he needed such a big ship but figured it best not to question his captain, "big ship for just the two of us" he said noticing there wasn't anyone else with them
"We will get more peope. And it doesn't need many as one man can row five oads with the sys tem inside." He boarded the ship.
Zeo shrugged and followed him on board "why do we even have oars?" he asked more curious then criticizing
(( I'll make a page for the boat :) ))

Ula opened her eyes, surprised that she had fallen asleep. She looked over at Link and was even more surprised that he hadn't, "do you ever sleep?" She half teased.
Link looked over at Ula and chuckled a little, "na, where would be the fun in sleeping?" he said with a grin, "and you're just in time, we're here"
She sat up a bit and looked around, "oh.." She stretched her arms out and grunted happily, "awesome, I can't wait to sleep in a bed!" She giggled and looked at him, "unlike you, I love to sleep."
Link laughed and nodded as he went around securing their ship, "alright, alright, accommodations first, and you know there are beds on the ship, you didn't have to sleep out here" he laughed again
Hula rolled her eyes then stuck her tongue out at him, "we'll sorry for thinking you didn't want to be left all alone," she bit out, feeling like she was waiting time.
Link thought back to the years when he'd sailed around by himself in his little dingy, he looked over at it and smiled, "yeah, you're right, it's much better with company" he said as he finished docking the ship
Link smiled then followed her off the ship, "I thought that was my line" he said with a laugh, he walked along the dock then thought about the villages on the island, "well we got a lot of options"
Like scratched his head for a second as he tried to remember all the villages, "well there's a blacksmith down that one" he said pointing to a road thinking of Zeo, "I know a coliseum down that way, lots of tournaments" he said pointing to another road, "master swordsmen and weapon specialists down there though" he said pointing to a third path
