Kampai Island
Luce jumped off her ship once it was safely docked. Her crew immediately dispersed after her, most likely to find the bars. That's where she was headed. She wanted to blow off steam from those two stowaways. Two of her men were injured and she'd barely been able to do anything. It still chafed her that the boy had called her a slave trader. She wasn't. She would rather die than willingly traffic anyone to the kind of life she had lived. He wouldn't be saying anything if he knew what she had been through. She shook her head, she had come to forget not remember.
Elizabeth wrote: "She nodded slowly, "alright...""
Link slowly pulled his dingy in to dock at the second harbor, it was a nice place, but he still wouldn't want to leave his things in the open, "Alright, we're going to have to put our stuff in the barrels, everything we're not taking with us" he said stuffing his jewels into a barrel and putting a few into his pocket to buy a few things

Ula was confused to why happy people would steel from them, but she did as he said and lugged her bag into a barrel. She managed to get out of the boat and look around quickly, she could smell alcohol and watched some man stumble down a road, "you brought me to a island full of drinkers?" She asked, remembering what her father was like drunk.
Link laughed at her question, "your the navigator remember? and this is 'The island of joy and laughter' only half of them are drunk, the other half just have fun" he said moving the dingy closer to land and tied it to the harbor, 'no one on this island ever stole a boat, but if jewels were lying around, who wouldn't...' he thought
Luce chugged another pint of ale while the other patrons cheered her on. She slammed it down with a satisfied sigh. "One more!" She cried and everyone cheered. (She's at a bar if that wasn't obvious)
((yeah, is she at the plateau or the village?))
Link hoped out of the dingy and finished tieing it to a post, "alright, come on now we can go find an inn for us to stay in, I doubt we'll have anything to worry about in this place" he said offering his hand to help her out of the boat

Ula nodded and took his hand. She hated wearing her dresses just around her home; and she hated the idea of wearing it around happy and drunk men even more.
Luce swayed on her feet and hiccuped. She giggled and tripped, landing on her butt. Somehow this was hilarious and she giggled hysterically, clutching her stomach. Most of the other patrons had drunken themselves to oblivion hours ago and would wake up with killer headaches.
Ula glanced around as they walked, "everyone is staring..." She whispered, the thought made her sick. She tried pulling the chest of her dress up, but it did nothing; the corset had everything stuck into place.
Luce got to her feet, still letting out an occasional giggle. She stumbled out of the bar, wanting to get back to her ship.
A drunk man walked up to Ula, "hi girly, how about we go back to my place," he hiccuped in the middle of his sentence, "and I help you get outa that pretty dress?"Ula made a face of disgust, "um, no thank you, sir. I prefer to keep my cloths on."
Luce saw a drunk man harassing a girl who looked vaguely familiar but couldn't place her face, drunk as she was. "Oi, she said she don't want to go so get!" She yelled drunkenly at the man.
The man looked at Luce, "this isn't your concern girl!" He yelled then looked back to Ula, "come on girly," she grabbed Ula's bare arm and started pulling on her.Ula screamed and tried pulling back, but was to weak.
"I said get!" Luce yelled, her hair crackling. She tackled the man, electrocuting him though non-lethally.
Ula slipped her arm free of the man and realized who just saved her, "th-thanks," she stuttered out of fear.
"No-" She hiccuped "problem." She started giggling when she got a good albeit tipsy look at the girl's dress. "No wonder he was doing that. You look like an island slut!" She spouted, falling on her butt again.
Ula felt insulted, "slut? I'll have you know this dress was made by my mother's best seamstress!" Ula wasn't a fan of dresses or her mother, but she adored Ellen the seamstress.
Luce slapped her hand on the ground. "Good one! Next you'll be saying your daddy commissioned a statue in your honor." She said, still laughing.
Ula rolled her eyes, "that would be silly!" She bit out, "he doesn't have time to do anything.." She whispered. She thought about all the birthdays he missed, and dance residuals. She sighed, "thanks again..."
"Whatever. I suggest changing if you want to avoid being groped." Luce said, waving off her thanks and staggering to her feet. "Now, I think the bar over there just opened." She pointed to a now lit up bar. Her thoughts of returning to her ship gone.
Ula rolled her eyes at the drunk pirate. She continued walking and sighed when her feet started to hurt, "I hope we get there soon," she mumbled.
On her way to the bar Luce tripped over one of her crew members who wasn't drunk. When he saw the state she was in he rolled his eyes and swung her over his shoulder despite her protests. "Nooooooo!" She whined, beating on his back. He ignored her though and walked towards the ship.
Link had fallen back a bit as the walked along, he loved this place, everyone was always so friendly and he didn't see anything bad happening to Ula, when he saw her being attacked he was about to knock the drunkard out when Luce appeared, he looped around and was getting ready to attack when Ula began walking away, he walked up to her, "you alright?" he asked looking at the pirate being carried away
Ula nodded, "I'm fine, just tired, are we almost there?" She asked, hoping he would say yes and she would be able to get out if this tight dress and into something more comfortable to sleep in.
Link walked in silence for a bit continuously looking back to make sure the pirate had gone, when he felt comfortable he focused on where they were going and thought for a moment, "yeah, it's just around that corner" he said pointing up ahead, "It's a great little inn, most people ignore it so you got only the best of people in there" he said with a smile as he remembered the inn
Ula sighed with relief, "then lest go!" She ran up the street and around the corner. She bumped into a big muscular guy and almost fell over. She looked up at him and gasped, "s-sorry."The man looked down at her and nodded.
She slowly walked around him then ran to the building that had a sign that said "inn" on it.
Link followed her and laughed a little when she bumped into someone, he smiled at the man "sorry mate, she's a little excited" he said with a chuckle as he walked to the inn to let her in, he liked how friendly people were here, it made him feel like he had a home
Ula looked around, "there's to meany guys here.." She said, noticing some of them watching her, "ew," she shivered.
Link laughed a little, "well in a place like this, you don't have to worry about them, they're just wondering what someone like you would be doing in a place like this" he walked up to the counter and asked for room and smiled back at Ula as he waited for the key
She looked at him funny, "a girl like me? What's that suppose to mean?" She asked, crossing her arms over her chest angrily. She could be like these people if she really wanted to, right? It couldn't be that hard.
Link laughed and thanked the Inn keeper when they handed it to him, he payed and walked back over to Ula, "in a gown like that, it means a royal rich girl, they're probably worried that you'll try and buy the inn or something" he began walking towards the stairs and looked back, "so you coming to check out the room?"
Ula sighed and fallowed him, "yup, right behind you." She fallowed him up the stairs and down some halls, "why are cloths so heavy?" She complained, "and why did you get a room so far from the front desk?"
Link laughed again "m'lady, these are things you'll have to get used to outside of your palace, us poor folk tend to live hard lives, usually doing things for ourselves" he chuckled, he found it rather amusing that she was finding the simple stuff irritating, they soon came to their room and Link pulled out the key to unlock the door
Ula rolled her eyes at him, "I'm not afraid to slap you for being rude," she smiled then fallowed him in. She flopped her bag onto the bed and sighed, "finally!"
Link grinned and laughed at her threat, "I'm just saying, you look... rich" he said closing the door and walking over to the table, he put his bad down and looked out the window, he loved this room because it had the best view
"Well I'm sorry all I have is nice cloths," she mumbled and sat cross legged on the floor and played with her dress.
Link chuckled again, "You noticed they were looking at you, I told you why, there's not really much else you can do" he said moving to the window, he opened it and sat on the windowsill, it was a perfect spot for him, nice wind, lovely view and a pretty comfortable stone sill for a seat, "they're just not used to it, and it's never a good sign to see a royal in a common place like this, but don't worry, they'll warm up to you when they see your not a threat"
She arched an eyebrow, "how are they going to know I'm not a threat?" She asked curiously and hoped he didn't mean going drinking, because she had never drank before.
Link turned away from the scene outside and grinned at her, "they may seem like thugs and drunkards, but they're good people, if you treat them as such then why would they fear you?" his smile lightened as he added "they're not servants nor are they slaves, treat them as equals and they'll do the same"
She jumped slightly, "wow, do you do any research on the family's you steal from?" She but out at him. She grabbed her bag of cloths and went into the bathroom to change into something else."Treat them as equals," she miked as she took off her dress and corset, "there not slaves," she never treated slaves as equals, she always treated them as her superiors; they were the ones who did all the work around her home, if she was mean they could probably kill her. Plus she was friends with all of the ones who she saw frequently.
She changed into a white short sleeved dress that had been roped at the bottom, showing her hole right leg and some of her left. She pulled a brown overlay corset over top for decoration and pulled on a pair of brown boots.
She stormed out if the bathroom, threw her cloths on the bed and headed for the door, "I'm going to the bar," she told him angrily.
Link took no mind of her outburst, he thought she was nice so far, but all royals were the same to him, and they all looked down on people like him, he turned back to the scene outside and relaxed with a smile... When Ula stormed back in and announced her plan to go to the bar he laughed and yell back "much better!" he smiled and thought she'd do well, but wondered how long it would take her to realize there was no bar, only the common room they passed on the way in
Ula didn't see what was go funny, she stormed out and shut the door quietly behind her-because a lady does not slam a door. She stormed down the halls, which were easier to walk down without her bag of cloths. She ran down the steps and stopped at the front desk; she was nervous and didn't want to get drunk and taken advantage of-unlike all the girls in the stories her mother told her when she was younger.
(( do you want Link to come down, or should I just play random characters like the inn keeper? (inn keeper is behind the counter in the common room) ))
