Reading For Fun discussion

OMG!! Lisa and I decided on a super awesome idea!!! She has donated a paperback book of her YA paranormal mystery novel Breaking Glass. And what we have decided to do with it was do a travelling book. So Lisa will send the first person the book and it will have a map so you can mark where you are from. You can also write in the book and highlight your favourite parts and also everyone can sign the book at the back. Then you review it and send it to the next person so on and so forth. At the end the last person will send it back to Lisa, so she can have a keepsake :) YOU MUST REVIEW THE BOOK!! And post your review to every place you can including amazon, goodreads, Barnes and noble, your blog, etc... So if this is something you are interested in doing please sign up below. As we get closer to starting I will ask everyone for their info. Also there will be a giveaway for the participants. I think a week for each person will be the limit on time, then it must be sent to the next participant. Keep in mind that you will need to pay shipping to the next person because they previous member has done it for you. Thanks! I can't wait!!!

Also it will only be open to Canada/US this time, sorry :(

Hi everyone! so glad you are interested in the Breaking Glass sister-misterhood of the Traveling Book. (that's just me being silly, not the actual name for this). I am still waiting for a carton of books from my publisher, so once I get them we're going to start this. Justine and i will work out the arrangements--perhaps we'll do a US and Canada tour simultaneously? Two books in circulation? I'm sorry to anyone outside the US and Canada--it really just gets too expensive to ship internationally (it's pretty pricey to ship to Canada, but you guys are special).

Glad you are all interested in the sister/misterhood of the traveling book! I am still waiting for the carton of copies to arrive. Apparently there was some kind of glitch with the distributor's warehouse. Hopefully it will come soon!

Woohoo! The books just came today..so on Friday I will be sending signed copies to the American and Canadian branches of the travelling book tour. I will need the addresses emailed to me at

Has anyone received the book yet? I mailed the two copies out last week.

I think usually to get to Canada it's about two weeks depending.
