We are now taking the first 10 nominations for our September-October 2013 Group Read.

Please don't pick books that are in the middle of a series and aren't easily available via libraries or reasonable purchase.

Here's the link for Interview with the Vampire which I absolutely loved way back when.

I read The Other a long time, too, and it was quite thrilling.

When we get 10 nominations, I will set up a poll. The winning book will become our group read selection.

Here's the link for Dark Places, which is also a very good read.

Brenda, I'm sorry to say your nomination doesn't qualify as it isn't a SK recommended book. Only one of Quindlen's books was recommended by King, but not this one.

Unfortunately, House of Leaves (an amazing book) doesn't qualify because it's not a SK recommended book. Sorry about that.
