The Readers discussion

In the beginning I struggled with the dialect of the islanders. Perhaps that is why I was originally more interested in Morgan's tale. But little by little Mary's story draw me in - the Trashing house, talking keys, selkies and all the myths were so interesting. Like Simon I couldn't work it all out, but that was part of the magic of this book.
