I'm actually running low on things to nominate.
Adults: The Robber Bride by Margaret Atwood -- based on "The Robber Bridegroom" which is somewhat similar to "Bluebeard"
YA: Snow in Summer by Jane Yolen -- a retelling of Snow White set in West Virginia.

I would love to read The Robber Bride! I recently bought that one, and I love Margaret Atwood.

Two novels have come out recently based on the Rapunzel tale.The adult novel: Sold for Endless Rue.

Just so there is more to choose from I will nominate a novel inspired by the Greek Myths of Persephone and Hades:

The message said more about mythology than the first post of this thread, but if anybody wants to do mythology, here's an epic for an alternate Canada. I'd be available for 'behind the scenes' after each chapter of the group read if selected. Thanks for considering:Ancient Canada
May I add A Curse Dark As Gold retelling of Rumpelstiltskin and/or a beauty and the beast retelling dystopian YA with bioengineering having to do with bees Stung (I really hope this one is good!)
