Elva's jaw dropped open as her eyes swept over the classroom. The class was already seated.
"Come on," Alec said, pulling her over to one of the fully equipped seats and sat on the one next to her. Just then, the tall female professor stepped into the class. Her heels clicked on the marble tiled floor as she made her way to the her desk and chair, which were as equipped as the students' seats but much more slimmer. She stood at the front of the class and announced, "I've said this every time I step into this class but my name is Maren Goth. You address me as Miss Goth or Professor Goth, understood? Good. Now for all the newbies, I will tell you what this class is about. In Technology class, you will learn how to function everything from phones to planes to submarines. All of which are in contact with Technology. This will serve useful now and times to come. Any questions?"
Elva had so many questions to ask but she was too shy so she didnt say anything.
Alec nudged Elva from his seat and whispered, "Don't be shy now, Elva. Professor Goth is the most gentlest professor there is in this academy, if you can't bring yourself to ask her a question, then the others are going to scare you tons." Professor Virgoth flashed in Alec's head but he ignored the stern face in his mind.
"I cant. I have a phobia of talking in class." She whispered back.
"Okay, then ask me the questions. I'll answer them," Alec said. He was one of the confident ones, who weren't really afraid of talking, but he knew there were others out there who are quiet, like his sister Blair.
"Um, do they think that well be able to build a submarine motor that would be strong enough to swim through the Bermuda Triangle even if the forces act upon it?"
Alec looked at her blankly for a moment, a look he rarely had on his face. He then shook his head and cleared his thoughts. Do they think that well be able to build a submarine motor that would be strong enough to swim through the Bermuda Triangle even if the forces act upon it? He opened his mouth to answer when
"A brilliant question, Evanescence. Yes, we are able to do that. But we must always think if that will benefit us, or is it just a waste of time. So, Evanescence, is there a benefit to the world if we create a submarine motor as powerful as that?" Professor Goth smiled at Elva gently as she talked.

Elva went beet red as the class turned to look at her. She shot Alec a sarcastic thank-you-very-much look and then turned to answer the question.
"Well, it depends really. Some people will view it as a waste of time money and space, because the disappearances are not extremely frequent. However the families of those lost to the ocean always look for alternatives. Besides, if it does work, it might also be a motivational step further in our path of technology. For example, the machine could also be used to save the lives of those who travel across the so called devil's sea, named so by the Japanese. 14 years ago a ship called the Darbyshire disappeared. It carried 190 tonnes of iron ore, as well as the crew, and although the wreck was found this year, for 14 years the families of those who died really pushed the science centers for answers and explanations..." She broke off, suddenly aware that she had talked for too long.

Lix had been in the class way before it had started. He was sitting in the very back of the class, and was very bored. He played with a coin, and levitated it in the air, making it do impossible tricks. He actually was a new student here, but acted like he had been at the Academy for years. The changeling/cyborg leaned back in his spot, and did what he had done for a long time. He concentrated, and attempted to move the cuff off his left wrist. He failed, and sighed. Frustrated, the boy tried to at least concentrate on the lesson, but lost interest, as he wasn't intrigued by the subject of the Bermuda Triangle.
Jamie causally strode in and sat down in his seat near the back and against the wall. His shoulder length blond hair was out and messy as per usual. Oh, his sister would get into him later for it. He glanced around the room, yawning.
Lix stared at the teacher, who was explaining something about clockworks and their gears. She was drawing a diagram, and Lix was really bored, so he kept on playing with the coin.
Jamie looked at the diagram and sighed loudly. He made water trickle down the board that the diagram was on and casually looked around, acting like it wasn't him.
The teacher frowned. "Who did this?" She asked softly to the class. Lix didn't even look up, and closed his eyes. His cyborg part powered up, and he opened his eyes, extra bored.
Jamie looked at the teacher and just blinked slowly, holding back the urge to yawn. He made the water turn into little flames of fire.
Jamie smiled innocently at the teacher. "Yes, miss?" He asked, raising his eyebrows. "That is certainly my name."
"Please stay back after class later." She said with a sigh. Lix chose this moment to hold back a laugh, turning it to a cough. "You too Metallica." He grinned. "sure miss, sure."
"After class I am tutoring my sister, miss," Jamie said, still smiling innocently. "Her name is Lily if you forgot. Red hair, green eyes, cute little thing... she's very shy."
"No excuses. Stay back After class." She said a little more sternly. That Lily girl was the one looking at you the voice chuckled.
Jamie threw up his arms and lent back in his chair. "You'll have to explain that to her, then," he said. "Me being her only family and all." He looked at the teacher challengingly.
"She can wait outside the class." The teacher said, finishing the subject. The lesson continued on for a while, before the bell rung. Lix waited till the class was empty and walked to the desk.
Jamie stayed in his chair and closed his eyes, still leaning back in his chair. He acted asleep, just to annoy the teacher.

Lily, biting her lip, paced outside the classroom. Jamie didn't skip class again? She lent against a wall, holding back from using her powers to learn what happened in the class.

"Jamie and Lix. You both will have to pair up for an upcoming task. Do you understand?" Professor Maren said. Lix nodded, then when dismissed, walked out.
Jamie groaned and walked out of the room. "Hey, Lix," he said. "We do the task my way, okay? Or you do all the work."
~
"Jamie?" Lily said, leaning against the doorway. "Behave for once in your life."

"Jamie?" Lily said, leaning against the doorway. "Behave for once in your life."
"Sure, sure, sure." Lix shrugged it off. As if he can do it alone. He laughed in his head. You are aware, that he needs some help, aren't you? This is a task for changelings and one cyborg. the voice pressed on.
Jamie just raised an eyebrow and walked to Lily, ignoring Lix completely. He hugged his sister and spun her around. "Sorry for being late, sweet one."
~
Lily smiled at him in amusement. She gently slapped his cheek. "Where were you at lunch?" She asked, glancing at Lix. "He caused amusement."

Lix smirked. "Barely enough amusement." He commented, walking past them. They're so sweet it sickens me. he thought.
Jamie looked at Lix. "So, kid, what did you do?" He asked. "It have better been good to amuse my sister while I was away." He crossed his arms.
"Controlled Max Sumner's gauntlet, which was claimed to be.. uncontrollable." Lix replied, leaning on a wall.
Jamie nodded in approval. "Good job, kid," he said. "Anything else?"
"Made the gauntlet hit the barrier, making an explosion. Got scolded by teacher, and inhibitor place on. Took inhibitor off, and walked to class." Lix listed the things, counting on his fingers.
Jamie tilted his head from side to side. "Eh," he said. "It's a pretty good job for a kid your age." He looked Lix up and down, chuckling.

Lily gently whacked her brother's arm. "Stop acting gay," she joked around.

Lix coughed. "anyway, I'm off to fix something." He node chis head at them, and walked off. A wire in his neck sparked, and he sighed.
Jamie looked at Lily and hugged her. "Like I would ever be gay," he said. "Too many se-"
"Jamie Woods, shut up," Lily said, ruffling his hair. "Anyway, you need food, mister." She grabbed his hand and dragged him back to the cafeteria.

Lix stumbled back into the class, just in time before the bell rang. He was exhausted from the previous events and now sat in his seat, his atmosphere sparking slightly.
Evan walked into the class and took a seat in the back next to a cyborg. His powers always made Technology one of Evan's strongest classes. He wanted to mess with him so he made the cyborg slap himself and smiled.
Lix slumped in his seat, tired, before he saw his hand rising into the air and hitting himself. He made a yelp, a weapon from the future appearing suddenly and he made it disappear. He was too tired to worry about it so he played around with a piece of metal.
Evan made the cyborg get out of his seat and do the chicken dance. "Dude what are you doing?" he asked trying to avert the suspicion and gain everyones attention. The whole class looked as the cyborg did the chicken dance
Lix immediately went suspicious of Evan. You dolt.. It's him. Bot groaned.
Lix's eyes glowed electric blue and he made electricity zap Evan, stopping the connection. He coughed to hide his non-embarassment and shrugged, pointing to Evan. "Him"

"What?" Evan said no longer smiling. "What did I do?" he asked as if he honestly didn't do anything.
"You messed with me" Lix sat, sitting in his seat, electricity fizzing in the air. All the static was zapping everyone, including Evan.
"How?" he asked as if the idea was silly "This is my power" he said getting up and turning invisible.
"And another one." Lix did a scan over of Evan getting all his data. "Technology control, invisibility, X ray vision. Name: Evan Louis Evgeniadis" he said, a blank face on.
"That is stupid this is my other power" he said becoming visible and creating a flame on his hand "and yes I do have x-ray vision" he said
"Well then, you're lying" Lix grinned, still out of energy, placing his head on his table, slowly going to sleep.
"Or your data is false" he said "I have clearly displayed two of my powers" he said "and proof of my x-ray vision. Excuse me you." he said pointing to someone in the next row "In your bag you have a phone make up and a note book and pen. You also have a pink iPod and headphones" he said. She nodded telling them that he was right. "There you go cyborg your data is flawed" he sat back down
"That would be extremely easy to prove wrong. Cyborgs are never wrong, am I correct miss?" He asked, glancing at the teacher. She nodded curtly. "And proof of one thing? I got a video recorder in my vision. I got the video of power levels around me. And it recorded your power level when you used it" Lix finished, crossing his arms.
