Hi! I'm new to this group. I saw the word 'nerd' in the recently active groups thread and immediately gravitated over here. I'm pretty nerdy. I read about a book a day, mostly sci-fi and trashy vintage bodice rippers, I play chess, and I still own my GBC from elementary school. :D

hello my name is James and I'm been a nerd since 1979

spending most of the 80's watching repeats off Star-Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Dr Who and cartoons no one else remembers. (like Ulysse 31)

The 90's i spent watching the x-files, playing magic the gathering and being that nerdy brainily kid in high school no one liked.

now i spend my time working at comic fairs in the north of England and wondering how my life went so far off track. ;( weep softly to self

as for board games I'm not that big a fan, but i do play Robo-rally and game of thrones some times.
