message 1: by Mussa (new)

Mussa Summer of the Monkeys by Wilson Rawls is a great fiction book. This book takes place around the 1800s. Every time a chapter ended I wanted to start a new one, this book made the reader stick to the reading it was straightforward, it didn’t confuse the reader at all. This is surely one of the best books I have read, even though it was a school assignment I did enjoy it.
It talks about this young kid called Jay Berry, he had a crippled sister, they lived in a farm which they grew crops in order to live. This was not a very wealthy family. Jay Berry´s dream was to buy a pony, but it wasn’t going to be possible because farming was not going good that year. One day during the summer some monkeys of the circus got lost. There was a recompense that said whomever finds them was going to get 85 dollars. Jay Berry went to find them to see if he would earn the money.
