Confessions of a Murder Suspect (Confessions #1) by James Patterson → Start Date: August 30th, 2013
This is such a good book. I'll join you guys in reading it, since the second book comes out in October :)
I accidently posted September instead of August, I hope that doesn't affect either of you being able to read it :(

Thanks for the synopsis and for posting this thread for us. :o)

This is one of the free ones I have on my kindle app so I'd love to join! :DSooo, are we supposed to read a chapter a day or just whatever we feel like?
We can read 5 chapters then come back to write our thoughts and feelings over it, then continue reading.
well, I just checked and it has something like 87 chaptershow about we come back every 10 chapters...that about every 50 pages
we could make it more like 20 chapters if we find little to talk about but I think every 10 chapters will give us time to form theories and talk about the book.
Does that work for everyone?
Have any of you guys read any of the Women's Murder Club Box Set, Volume 1 series?I've read quite a few and loved them. I guess it's the other series these two others have collaborated on (but it's an adult series, not YA)
I'm pretty excited for this one tomorrow!!

That sounds great! :D I am excited as well!
if no one minds....I'm going to make a list of suspects and wow, other names. I don't think ANYTHING in this list is a spoiler. I think you can view it at anytime, but I will note which chapter I last updated someone on here.
Updated thru Chapter 31:
Cops: Caputo and Hayes
CSI: Joyce Yeager
suspects: (view spoiler)
I can't start till after work, but brilliant idea, Trisha! I do that with books that have a lot of characters or if the plot line has sub-plots. It is very helpful!
Wow, you're fast Trisha!!! I just finished the first ten chapters now, so I'll have my post up in a few!!
wow, crazy first 10 chapters.Yes, I hope the thread above helps. be sure to let me know if something on it is wrong :D
Robert (view spoiler)
Tandy (view spoiler)
Caputo (view spoiler)
this one is REALLY good so far. it's sucking me right into the story
I agree with you Trisha; the story is super good and engrosses you the minute you start to read the first chapter!!So, (view spoiler).
And (view spoiler)
Tandy(view spoiler)
So I just finished the first 10 chapters and just....wow. I love how James Patterson is writing the book, as a letter to the readers. I don't see that often and it's very creative. I can't believe how good it is so far! Usually it takes a while for a book to pick up, but this stared right away. I can't wait to read more.As for the suspects....I'm leaning towards Samantha or the doorman. I just feel like they're suspicious. And I got chills when Tandy said she couldn't take herself off of the suspect list.
I've also just finished the first 10 chapters. I will be taking a break after the next though. And I agree Janessa, I love how James Patterson wrote the story.

Here is the synopsis ~
James Patterson returns to the genre that made him famous with a thrilling teen detective series about the mysterious and magnificently wealthy Angel family . . . and the dark secrets they're keeping from one another.
On the night Malcolm and Maud Angel are murdered, Tandy Angel knows just three things: 1) She was the last person to see her parents alive. 2) The police have no suspects besides Tandy and her three siblings. 3) She can't trust anyone—maybe not even herself. Having grown up under Malcolm and Maud's intense perfectionist demands, no child comes away undamaged. Tandy decides that she will have to clear the family name, but digging deeper into her powerful parents' affairs is a dangerous-and revealing-game. Who knows what the Angels are truly capable of?
