*gasp* i got the library copy and it was all messy and ruined >.< so i don't think i got much out of it.... i neeeeed to buy that one >.<

oh his name is daniel handler. and no, they are dead. but yes he is incredibly confusing and an insanely good writer.

i also heard it on NPR because he interviewed someone on city arts and lectures and it said "Daniel handler, who wrote the series of unfortunate events under the pen name of lemony snicket, interviewing so-and-so." thats how i know.

yeah, i knew his name was daniel handler too...
