“And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.”― Haruki Murakami

The greatest temptation of your lifelies is in front of you, ready to be
conquered, and you suddenly realize
that it is just another thing; another
meaningless conquest in a series of

Rao, this time you really rocked buddy. In your second last quotation i didn't find any inspiration, don't know what's the cause of inspiration for some people.
I think, solitude in each case cut your personality from the community. Actually it's a kind of gap, not a positive mark when you are going through in a society and reason is this sometime you yourself don't know the reason of your solitude.
solitude keeps you safe....
you can get solitude of many kinds. one can become a hermit by it or one can chose enough solitude for themselves to keep them save from unwanted harm of any kind.
it all depends on how you see it.

@Nero's Master: Yes, exactly is all depends upon how we think about it. As I think hermits are the weakest persons of a society who couldn't find the God in a running world. For the latter phrase I wanna give an example; when a pigeon happens across a cat, closing its eyes is a certain fact. Probably, he thinks this way he wouldn't get any harm. Actually a loser he is. isn't he?
Somehow,I think human should able to manage the situations rather than to flee.
The instinct to flee is based on survival. Honed over the millions of yrs. for the survival if a race.
