#2- The reasion he became Marcies gardenine angle is because the more importent people transerferd him to her and the reasion why he could date Marcie is because they knew that it ment nothing to him unlike his realship with Nora. Their realship ment a lot to him because he loved her and not Marcie.
#3- I forget why it was so importent to him..but If I reamemeber it right, the ring gave him some type of power and he was stronger with it on or somthing.
I can't recall #4 and 5 though

2: when Nora and Patch fight, Nora shouted that she don't wanted Patch for guardian anymore.
3: The ring gave Scott some powers to be stronger.
4: You will find the answer in Silence.
5: i don't know if it's right, sorry.

2. He stopped being her guardian when she told him she didn't want him to be it anymore. He was allowed to fool around with Marcie because he had no feelings for her. The other angels knew he loved Nora, and if he kept up with their relationship they would've chained him in hell.
3. Scott needed the ring because the Black Hand threatened him to keep it or he'd kill him. He also comes to grow attached to it, like an addiction, because it provides him with extra power and lets the Black Hand know where he is. Nora keeps it from him as leverage at first, knowing that he needs it, and as evidence because she wants to know who the BH is.

5. Yes, I think that is correct from my memory. :)

1. Patch enrolled in school originally to meet and sacrifice Nora to become human, mistakenly believing she was a descendent of Chauncy's vassal. As an angel, wouldn't he already know she's Rixon's (Barnaba's) vassal's daughter? (Additionally, why did Patch have to enroll in school to begin with?)
2. At what point did Patch stop being Nora's guardian angel? Why was he able to "date" Marcie and be her guardian angel, but not do the same for Nora? Can guardian angels have full-on relationships (feelings + physical intimacy) with whomever they want, as long as it's not their assigned person? What about fallen angels? Isn't the world a free-for-all for them, but they experience the world in a numbed-down way?
3. Why did Scott need the ring so badly for his survival? Why did Nora keep it from him? (Will this be revealed later on and I should be patient?)
4. If Nora has fallen angel descendent (Nephilim) blood in her, wouldn't she have some sort of super-immunity too? Or does that only apply to 1st generation Nephils?
5. The book implies that Hank's father is a long-descendent of Chauncy and his mother is a fallen angel who has possessed a human female during Chesvan. Is this assumption correct?
Thanks in advance! :)
