Hunger Games! discussion

The training starts now! Have your characters enter the area, where an expert will drill them with the rules, before they're off for a day to their own. May the odds be ever in your favor!

Adelaide entered the area, notebook in hand.

Kariah, the training center's expert stands at the center of the room, waiting for the tributes to join her.
Serena: "Adelaide!" I squeal, joining her. "Are you ready for training?"

Ally:"my escort told me about this place looks cool"

Adelaide sighed inwardly. "I guess, so, Serena," she said sweetly.

Serena: "Yes, it's really big, isn't it? I had the best breakfast this morning..." I start ranting about hot chocolate, when the woman standing in the center of the room clears her throat.

Cameron: I follow Adelaide in wearing my training clothes. I look around to all the stations set up. I try to think what I can do to impress the game makers and get my score up.

Bethany walked into the training center.

Kariah: "Would all tributes please join me for a moment, while I go over some things for your training time." I say calmly, voice steely and flat.

Cameron: I stand quietly behind people. I recognize the girl in front of me as Bethany.

Adelaide followed the directions.

Serena: "This should be fun!" I whisper to Adelaide. "What do you think she'll say?"
Kariah: "I think we should wait a while before continuing. Not all tributes are present yet."

Adelaide voiced her opinion. "But that should be their loss, shouldn't it?" She ignored Serena.

Jason entered the training room and joined the crowd of people around the training centers director. Micah from district 7 followed him.

Kariah: "It won't be, if they end up attacking one of you without knowing the rules." I say cooly.

Nika: I rush down to the training center following Micah.
((she is one of the charries that will die because she was never claimed... gosh that sounds terrible))

Adelaide refrained from making the world's greatest comeback. It doesn't fit my act... she thought.

Serena: My eyes widened. "No one has actually died here, have they?"
Kariah: I resist the urge to roll my eyes. "There's always a first."

Cameron: I nearly laugh at the naive girl from 10. Was she as blind as the capitol people were to the true happenings of the games?

Al walked into the training center, he was late.

((The owner of her never came so...))

Ally:"hey Aries?"

Aries: I rush into the training room and join the group of tributes. I stand next to Rory and Ally whom I've spoken with before.

Ally:I smile " you made it !!"

Little Zac walked in, scared as hell, but determined to try to do his best.

Rory stands there and askes Aries "What now?"

Aries: "Yea, a bit late, but I'm here. So we better get some skills in if we're gonna survive right? What do you wanna do? Do you want to do the hiding and plant stuff?" I say, thinking if that one girl a few years ago that saved her true strength for the private training.

Ally: @ Aries " what If I get a low score ;("

Aries: I turn towards Rory and say, "I'm not quite sure." I gesture towards Ally, "Rory, this is Ally, we're going to team up during the Games. Did you think about my offer?" I ask politely, hoping he reconsidered.

Rory: "Yeah, maybe tying knots" he said in a shrug.

Aries: "Well, I know you're a strong person, I sure as hell hope you do; and you should just use it to your strengths. The others will assume that you're weak when really you're not, and wouldn't target you first." I thought to myself to go for that option.

Cameron: As we wait for further instruction I stand next to Bethany. I think of what Patrick told me. "Hello again." I say.

Adelaide stood to the side, listening to Serena chatter away, wishing the arena could come sooner to put her out of her misery.

Rory: "Good idea Aries, let's get moving" he said

Zac: He looked around and decided to go the the tying knots part, he maybe need to set traps in the arena.

Bethany: She looked at Cam, she was muc normal than the other day, she smiled "Hi there".

Ally:" umm hi Rory" I say shyly

Cameron: I half smile back. "Um...you guys looked great in the parade last night." Once the words are out I want to hit myself. I don't care about the parade and I am sure she doesn't.

Beth: "Thanks, you were pretty great too" she said looking around to see what to do.

Rory: He glanced in Ally's direction "Hi"

Cameron: I shrug "Thanks."glad she didn't seem angry. I eye the daggers by the targets and then look to the bow and arrows. I had never tried.archery but might as well try before the games.

Beth: "Would you like to try archery? I never did, it seems cool" she didn't wanted to go alone and Cam seemed nice to spend some time with.

((Hey, I cant really stay. Can someine play Kariah and give the speech? Sorry!))

Cameron: I look at Beth and nod. "That would be nice."

Kharia: "There are several training stations where you, tributes, are able to train and learn survival and fighting skills you may need in order to survive in the arena. Each station is staffed by an expert and assistants, you arte forbidden to fight each other before the Hunger Games begin. Now, you may start"

Beth: "Let's go then" she said walking and watching to see Cam standing "come on!".
