I re-read chapter 1 last night--wanted to be "fresh" for the class that begins Monday night. From page 10, "Human mind is highly intelligent. Yet its very intelligence is tainted by madness."
It's so true. We have the ability to build wonderful tools that ease our everyday lives, we are artists, poets, etc yet we still have it in our minds to "one up" each other. Beat each other over the head because of religious differences.
Isn't that just...madness?
The Purpose of This Book, Our Inherited Dysfunction, The Arising New Consciousness, Spirituality and Religion, The Urgency of Transformation, A New Heaven and a New Earth.
Hopefully, having the chapter headings at the top of each chapter heading will jog our memories about what we read so we can have some sparkly discussion! (Let me know if you find them useful, pretty please.)
