The girls started in winner at the house. They'd never had a sleepover.Aaron smiled, and kept traveling Dylan. He was so happy to finally have the girls out.
"Is fine. The girls usually crawl in with me anyway." Aaron says. The girls nodded confidently. "Is there anything we can help out with?"
((Oh kk)) Dylan punched in the number and waited until the pizza arrived. "Girls why don't you checked on the kids." She said. She wanted to talk to Aaron.
The girls nodded, feeling very grown up. Aaron sat there, his hand clasped around the wrist where his scars were.
Dylan gestured where the babies were. She then looked at Aaron unsure if what to say. "You're alright?"
"Fine," he lied, looking up. "Just thinking..." his mind traveled back to when they met in the library. It'd only been yesterday, and now she was helping them escape.
He didn't answer for a few minutes. Finally he said, "I just want the girls to be safe. I've been taking care of them for as long as I can remember. And I need a job, but none of the places I've been to accept people with..." He stuttered. "S-self harm issues."
"You'd be the first." He leaned his head into her hand, his long dark fair falling in front of his face. The girls ran back in just then. "They're all sleeping still."
Dylan stood up. "They are?" She asked. The door bell rang. She went and answered it, then returned with a pizza
The girl's smiles widened and they ate hungrily. Aaron kept his place on the couch, staring blankly into space.
"No. But thank you." He said sincerely. He looked around the house and thought of the babies sleeping just a few rooms over. This is the life he and the girls should've had. A tear fell from his eye and he looked away from her. He was being stupid.
Dylan put an arm around him. "It'll be okay. The girls are safe now. They can have a new life." She said.
"I know." He looked at her age smiled. He'd been smiling ash still lot lately. He looked it. He tested his head on her shoulder
Dylan smiled. "Who's ready for bed?" She asked, standing up. She lead the girls for their toothbrushes and pajamas she had bought did them earlier.
They did add they were told, used to their nightly routing. They crawled into bed abs snuggled up.Aaron stayed awake.
((Sorry, is my birthday and I'm checking my room :) ))Aaron smiled back. He felt happy. He looked down at his wrist and pulled his sleeve over it. The scars so bleed sometimes, though he wasn't the reason. They would just...bleed.
((Happy birthday!)) Dylan looked down at his wrists. "You don't need to keep them covered." She said.
((Thanks! 14!))He didn't answer. He hated his scars. They reminded him that he was weak. That he had once tried to give up.
"I'm....I'm sorry. That wasn't because....that wasn't because of you." He said. This was the most affection he'd ever received from anybody accept his sisters.
"No, no. It's fine. I like it..." He said this and then felt embarrassed. "Is just...I've never really been hugged...every...by the girls."
"No problem." She smiled. She tucked a piece of hair behind her ear. "So....you and the girls will be living here now?" She asked
Ali called Dylan from the hospital and waited for her to answer
