((The labs prepared to work on mutants to turn their DNA into weapons or them themselves))

Jason brought Chance into the labs. "Hey Pat, Rutherford has one for you." He said laying her on an experiment table and locking her arms and legs against the table. "He wants you to take DNA and blood for now."

Pat walked over wiping his hands,"Is that her?"

Jason smiled at him. "Yup the legend come to life." He showed him his burnt hands. "Better keep this one sedated."

"You tell, Rutherford. I don't like this."He said angrily injecting another sedate in the girls arm.

Jason chuckled at the paranoid scientist. "If you want we can get Jace on the job and he can get all the praise."

((making Jace just fyi))

"Shut up Jason,"Pat said drawing blood in the syringe. "Go put something on your hands or something." He studied it, the blood didn't look different but he needed to use a microscope.

((lol))

Jason chuckled once more. "See you later." He said leaving."Oh and she can also read minds and levitates things." Jason said in spite to freak Pat out before the door closed behind him.

((Cont. in lobby))

"What?!"Pat said to the door. He checked the ties on her hands and feet before heading over to study her blood.

Jace walked into the lab and sighed. He would have to wait to finish his research now. "Hey, Pat. Hows it coming?" He asked looking at Chance.

Chance walked through a house. It was very familiar, but she could not place it. "Hello?" She called.

((she is dreaming just to let you know))

"Fine,"he said not looking up from the microscope. "If you want her knock yourself out."

"Nope, sorry but I cannot prick and poke until your dastardly job is complete." He said sarcastically.

Pat snorted and looked up,"Come here Jace and check this out."

Jace went over to the telescope and looked at the cells. "They seem to be going through frequent fluctuations." He had a worried expression on his face when he looked up. "This is not good."

"They go faster when agitated."Pat said. "I need more subjects to see if its the same for everyone."

"I will get Jason on it." He said walking back to the lobby.

((Cont. at lobby.))

Jace walked back in. "Alright he said he would do it." He walked back over to Patrick, but he was still a little nervous.

Chance started to move around a little and gave out a moan.

Jace turned around quickly. "Get another sedative before she wakes up." He said.

No reply came when she called, so she decided to go around and search the house. She stopped at a door and heard screaming coming from inside. Chance slowly opened the door and inside there was havoc everywhere.

Pat tossed one to Jace.

Jace quickly gave her the sedative and she grew silent. "Good. She must not wake up or we will be toast." He said walking back to the counter.

((haha pun))

"Not funny,"Pat said his hands shaking.

Jace smiled at him. "Ah come on lighten up. I promise if she does wake up, you won't die first."

"That's so confronting,"Pat said rolling his eyes. "Here,"he handed Jace Chance's DNA and blood sample file. "Give it to Ruthmore."

"Fine, but remember the pricking is mine." He teased before taking the samples and leaving.

Jason brought the other girl to the lab. What was her name again? Robin? He thought. "Here Pat. Got your other specimen." He said as strapped this one on the table next to Chance and strapped her down too.

"Really?"Pat said walking over."Where you get this one?"

Jason smiled. "Friend of hers."He said pointing at Chance. "Also you might want to keep this one sedated, too. She can phase through anything." He warned.

Just then Jace walked in. "Ah good the other specimen is here."

"What can't these freaks do?"Pat said drawing blood for the other girl and tossed another bottle of sedation to Jason. Then turned around to do some tests.

Jason chuckled before replying, "How about not freaking you out?" Jason gave Robin more sedative before turning to look at Chance. He smiled at her peaceful face, before leaving.

((Cont. at Dorm))

"Thanks for your help." Jace called before the doors shut.

Jace took the blood from Robin and readied it to view under the microscope.

Chance peered into the door and saw herself in Town Square, on fire. People were screaming and some were dead. She watched as she destroyed everything with fire. Chance dropped to the floor and wept. Her emotion went out through her telephathic abilities to any mind readers alive.

Have looked at the girls blood. He looked at at Pat and frowned. "It is not the same." He said shaking his head.

Chance got up from where she wept and when looking through other doors. Most of them had nothing, but the one she stood in front of was different. She opened it real slowly and heard her voice, but also another one.

"Chance you are going to be so cute." The voice said.

"Not as cute as you." Chance replied.

When she opened the door Chance was sitting at a table with a mirror fixing her hair. The other voice was coming from a girl sitting on the bed. " Who is that?" She said knowing the girl and her other self could not hear her. She felt connected to the girl, though, but she could not remember.

((Guys I will be back sometime after 1))

Pat frowned,"No, Chance's temperature's increased with her mood,"He said,"The new girl's density changed."

"Exactly." Jace was silent for a moment. "It seems the new girls cells are more stable though."

"So their blood varies by their powers."Pat said.

"Yes, or their experience with them." Jace added looking over at the prisoners.

"Thanks sis. You are the best." Chance said as her hair flawlessly flowed down her back.

"I...have a sister? Why don't I remember this?" Chance asked herself. She got up to go find other doorways but they were locked. Chance felt herself drifting awake.

Chance did not move or open her eyes to let her captors know she was awake. This time she was going to escape.

"Mmm,"Pat said studied the blood

Jace turned to Pat. "I forgot to mention, but Rutherford wanted us to start project frostbite."



((project frostbite is where they are going to take Chance and see if anything weather wise affects her like rain or snow.))

"Go on then,"Pat said backing up,"I'm not touching that."

"Fine, fine. I will be the man this time." He teased, but before he could go over to her the straps that held Chance and Robin popped open and Chance jumped up.

Pat cursed under his breath and went for his gun.

Chance heard someone whisper her name with her telepathy. It felt familiar.

Jace pulled out his own gun and fired at her. Chance reacted too slowly and one of the bullets went into her shoulder. She cried in pain and made a wave of telepathic energy hit the scientists.

Jace fell asleep as soon as the energy hit him.

Pat fell asleep.

Chance's shoulder was bleeding, but she had to get out of here. She slung Robin over her shoulder and already knew it would be hard to leave with how heavy she was. Chance headed out of the lab, but did not know where to go. She decided to head where the voice from earlier came from.

Jason quickly ran into the lab and saw the prisoners were gone, the scientists were asleep, and that there was some blood on the table. He went over to Pat and shook him. "Pat! Wake up!" He yelled

Pat jumped up with his gun pointed at Jason."What the?...They escaped!"

Jason moved the gun away from him. "Whoa, be careful with that and yeah I know. Are you guys ok?" He asked helping Pat up.

"I'm fine,"Pat said,"Go after them, I'll take care of Jace. I don't feel like hearing Ruthmore today."

Jason smiled at him. "Gotcha." he said before getting Chance's scent and running after her.

Jason walked into the lab and ran his fingers through his hair. "We have a problem.." He said.

Jace got up woozily with the table. "What happened?" He asked looking around in confusion.
