Hello everyone! I'm Bridgitte and I am new to Goodreads. This summer I am trying to get caught up on some classic Sci-Fi, such as J.G. Ballard's works, finish "The 9 Princes In Amber" series, and the final Riverworld book as well as others. Any suggestions on 1960s or 1970s Sci-Fi that I should be checking out?

Hi Bridgitte! You've found some of the great ones there. I loved the Amber series. Off the top of my head, I'd suggest Keith Laumer. Poul Anderson is another good choice.
Is Orson Scott Card from the 70's or the 80's? I have read several of Card's books and love all of them. Even if he isn't from the 70's, I recommend him.
This Immortal & Lord of Light both by Roger ZelaznyThe Einstein Intersection by Samuel R. Delany
All three won awards in the 60's & 70's. They're also my favorite books of all time. I re-read them every decade or so. I just finished re-reading the last one. I get something different out of it each time.
